the gap is already bigger as 2 4870x2's in crossfirex and a 4.5ghz intel cpu can almost max out crysis on high resolution. just wait nvidia is bringing out a 280gx2 of some sort and that could be a better performer than the 4870x2. but the ps3 is already old and as far as im concerened i would rather spend a little more money on pc hardware to get better graphics than buy a ps3. and just to let you know if sony doesnt bring out the ps4 within a couple years the xbox will be dominating the market and microsoft will be way ahead. no way they will wait 10 years buy then we will be playing virtual reality games and really feel like were there in the game and i dont think ps3 will do that. do you?

download a program called rivatuner and turn your fan up and it will drop your temps depending on what percentage you turn it up to.

edit: just posted a pic just install the program and click on the button i circled in the window on the left(customize) and then check low level fan control and then fixed and then st it to whatever you want it at. then apply it and you will reduce temps. when i was on the stock cooler if you set it to 80 to 90 percent it doesnt get to loud. %100 isnt to loud but it will reduce temps a lot. hope this helps

edit 2: btw %29 is stock for the gt so you will see temp drops. and anything that says reboot or detect now just detect now theres no need for a reboot.

he can use patch q tweak there is no license checking on that and here it is. btw wrong section to.

i like this a lot but havent messed with the delay to see what it does for me but it works very well and sounds good to me. good work

now why would he release a tweak for Y. that just doesnt make sense to e just wait for the tweak for Z. i tried robbies tweak for Y on the patch Z and ive been fooling around with numbers but its difficult to use it. just wait you will get one sooner or later.

hello there i tired of not being on a team and i would love to join a nice drift team. a friendly team skills dont matter just a group of kool guys and gals that love to go out drifting. im usually on sometime during the day practicing more and more. i consider myself laid back and easy to get along with. i drift all the rwd cars and just like to have fun period. well i guess i will see what this brings up.

vista ultimate 32 bit boot up time 15-20 seconds and shutdown in like 8 seconds. lots of things disabled in windows only using 520mb of my 2gb idling in windows instead of 800 to 900mb. runs a lot better now.

yes not a bad board. it will work great for you.

either you like or you dont. dont hate on drifters or racers no matter what we all like we should all respect each other and not argue about things like this. racing is fun and i like it a lot. i also like drifting a lot and yes it does take skill to control a car sideways at high speed even the slow technical parts. racing takes skill to trying to find that quickest line and beating your opponents just as you would in drifting but judged by points etc.. i think if your a racer and hate drifting you need to try it out if you havent or if you have just respect that not all people like the same thing or this world would be boring as FCK! same with drifters who hate racing. it goes both ways. just get a long and we would have a more pleasant racing and drifting environment in LFS.

go to ur shippers site and do an estimated shippment to ur house from were the company is. it should be located on the site i linked to find were there at and see how much it would be.

the ram you can get will be good for you. and i would pick up the toughpower 650w if you can get it. just to let you guys know ddr1066 ram will work with a board that only supports ddr533, ddr667, ddr800. it will just run at a lower clock speed until you either overclock it or adjust the memory strap in the bios but have the memory running higher than your fsb on your cpu doesnt benefit much. so run lower clock speed and tight timings if you wont be overclocking. ddr800 with 4-4-4-12 timings will run about the same performance as ddr1066 at 5-5-5-15 timings.

why not get the 8800gt over the 3870. it cost 10 more and will out perform it by an ok margin.

this last one has a guide to overclock your pd 805 lots of people have the same motherboard and cpu as you and it overclocks just fine. just do some reading and you will be overclocked in no time. you DO NOT NEED A NEW COMPUTER unless you want and have the money to do so. overclocking it will help some. just read thats the info i can give you.

man just wait for the new platform. it will be worth it. its suppose to be pretty good from what i hear. so imo just wait it out for now then buy when its available.
