Well, you cant since its tweaked. But try to tweak yourself with only the specs i have given you.

Then you exit pits, wait, and the car settles. Then drive around alot, and make some wheelspin. Remember to monitor tiretemps. Suddenly it drops. There is a hole shitbucket of grip in those tires.

Did you guys know, that it's -99 deg in bl?
http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/9185/lfstemp5bo.jpg

Those tires have unbelievable grip! A shame the car resets at 11 km/h?
And those tires automatically heat to about 999 deg.

The dimensions is 200/180-14 on XR GT
Lowest tirepressure on R4 slicks. Press f9 and reset car, this is so weird!

Then we'll stick to our turbocharged inline 4's

Without a turbo, just with a kn filter, the VR6 sounds pretty good i think, and i do like the sound of a massive muscle car, that just shakes your internals loose, when it fires up. But, i can't help it, i'm an inline guy

What we need is a configurable, that changes the volume of the intake sound, and like in old days, exhaust sound. I think it would be best, if they could be done separatly.

Though, don't get your hopes up, don't think that is going to happen, ever.

He for sure got the experience, it was top notch driving. Those other drivers didn't go for a good clean line.

At first i was thinking, that this was a waste of time, but after, just for the laugh, tweaking a bit, i made an engine, i think, that sounds quite like a formula 1 car.

Attached is the tweak, a set which has about the right gearing i think, and a .txt, with all the information for lfs tweak, just in case, that your computer doesn't take . for ,'s or the other way around. You need a fast clutch, or else this would not sound right!

Yup, but that would bore me to death

KY Oval - 130 steady - XF GTI - 3 laps:
Before:
http://img75.imageshack.us/img ... 00afterkyoval5laps9ab.jpg

After:
http://img103.imageshack.us/im ... fgtiafteroval3laps6tc.jpg

4143 - 4134 = 9 km
2531,97 - 2530,88 = 1,09

8,25 km/l. So far the UF1000 on my fuel efficient setup works best

Allright, just been on the ky oval, 5 laps, UF1000, roof on, doing 140 steady km/h. Lets see how that went:
After:
http://img75.imageshack.us/img ... 00afterkyoval5laps9ab.jpg

Km after - Km before = Total went km
4134 - 4118= 16 km

Fuel burnt after - fuel burnt before = total amount of fuel burnt:
2530,88 - 2529,39 = 1,49 liters.

That means = 10,73 km/l. So far i have the highest

Lets make a contest, who can drive the longest distance on one liter/gallon fuel?

Take a screen of lfsworld now, go online, pick a car, do some granny, go out, take another screen of lfsworld, post the two screens, and do the maths.

It doesn't need it, when it starts to sound horrible, change gears. If it sounds even worse now, go two gears the other way. Oh.. Wait - peugeots allways sound horrible
^No offence, just a bad joke, that probably went wrong. Night everybody

Another post, not very old, complained about the gravel, which is not stop-ish enough. I think it looks like the car is skipping here too, though

Allright lads, i now got another problem. After doing what you said, i'm getting around 40-50 fps with my 9250, and thats rather okay for now.

Now check this:

Might be, that LFS engine modelling not yet allows different turbo-boost-patterns in different gears, and they might just have taken a middle of none boost-restraints, and IRL boost restraint?

Quote from axus :It may be a shortcoming what we are trying to say is that the results that LFS produces are believable and explainable and since the RA is the only real life reference point we have, someone who has driven one must say what the turbo lag is like in it. The rest of the cars are non-existent in real life so you can easily use these explainations to say that what LFS does is believable. Therefore, it is not the most important thing on the list.

I know that the engine in a RA is a Saab B204L - the same as in for example a 9-3.
http://video.google.com/videop ... 7241632962&q=saab+9-3

Thats a vid of a quite tuned version, it has alot of spool up time too, but when it's there, it's there.

Being a saab-fanatic, i can tell you, that the RA's base-engine behavior is way of, it needs to build boost quicker, way quicker, but maybe the RA-developers have designed the enginemanagement to disallow fast turboboost, to prevent spinning.

I don't think it would be, the LX6 gets extremely twitchy with the rear end on slicks. It's harder to driver to the limit, than the UFR.

Oh, and i probably should tell, that with the 9600 xt/td - at same settings, it does not get over 25 FPS. I have shortly seen 30, but that where when i held still, and looked into a wall!

You guys, check this out:

Thats my graphic settings, set pretty low you see (Catalyst 6.2)

Thats an ingame screenshot. I can live with that graphic, but take a look at my FPS. It's totally unplayable

What do i have to do?

My computer:
3 GHz P4 Prescott HT
2x 256mb DDR, dualchannel
128 megs radeon 9250 (The tv-out on my XT/TD 9600 went out of order, when i moved my computer - cant get any signal - so bought a 9250)
60gigs something hdd
Onboard sound, lan, etc.

It really can't be true that it runs so low framerates - it's not that bad a computer! Help me - i'm desperate!
