Quote from Crashgate3 :There is, it's called going out the front door and driving my car. Which I can do whenever I want, why would I do it in a computer game?

If you get your petrol for free, then I see your point.

Well sorry for bumping an old thread, but I think voice chat can be a good idea for LFS. I know we have macros which makes it possible to send a few pre-made messages without having to type while driving, but that's where it stops. For saying something "advanced" you need to stop your car and type, or risk driving into others while typing, and the final message will just be jibberish no one can read.

I'm pretty sure someone disagrees for different reasons. Some people don't like their voice and less do they want others to hear it. (my voice sucks too, lol) And trolls and such, if you mute them or kick them, they won't be a bother. And server admins can always chose to disable voice chat if they're afraid of bandwidth, and clients with little bandwidth can probably disable voice at their pc, and then the server will not send voice packages to that client.

I think the biggest problem is implementing it into the game. Lots of lines with code probably needs to be added for insim to support voice and who knows how big the job will be? The devs will maybe look at it after the new tire physics.

Sorry if some sentences of words are nonsense. Using my phone with a keyboard that likes to spit out nonsense sometimes.

That's true. Currently, dirt racing is pretty bad compared to the non-dirt, as it isn't high prioritized right now. Maybe some time in the future when the tire physics are done.

Yeah, a less powerful RB4 with FWD could be pretty good.

The RS looks pretty nice.
The 205 looks too muck like a larger XFG.
S1 looks like it would do good.

Maybe a smaller a lighter XRG with maybe 1.6 liter engine would be good.
FXO without turbo and without the rear spoiler.
An XR with 2.5 - 3.0l inline 6 and a bigger turbo and better tires. Something that might keep up with FZ5, probably an interesting "Turbo vs N/A" battle.
RB4 with maybe a bigger engine and more durable clutch.

(just giving a few suggestions here)

A narrow road with a lot of corners, hairpins etc and not like a mile between each of them.

A narrow road makes overtaking a bit harder, and with blind corners the driver has to memorize the track. Also with not too long straights, cars with more engine power doesn't have as much advantage, and a race with cars of difference classes can be more interesting.

While I was around I went to the Asian store and bought 5 packs of these. Thai version though. The real thing (Japanese version) is only avaiable in the capital, and maybe a few other cities, and costs a bit more.

130€

Nope. Shipping costs around 12€.

That camera seems pretty light. Won't it vibrate a lot when driving?

Quote from TexasLTU :You're wrong, N9 runs on MeeGo. And Symbian is only continued on Asha series phones and Belle users (as for Nokia 500, 700, 701 or 808 Clearback) should (?) receive updates to improve performance.

I have a Lumia myself (710), and I'm not sure which apps are missing (compared to iOS or Android). Instagram can be perfectly changed with Fhotoroom, its the very same Viber (just on beta, calls aren't available yet), its pretty much no difference.

It is as restricted and closed as iOS, but if you developer-unlock you get much more possibilities.

Still, I prefer to go back to Android. There are a lot of apps I miss, and I doubt I can find those in MeeGo either. (Instagram isn't one of them) And I'm already familiar with Android.

Quote from Velociround :The Lumia 800 is absolutely gorgeous (well, the N9 is gorgeous and the Lumia 800 share the same design, so... I still think this design works better without the WP buttons, though).

You should have considered getting an N9, though (same hardware, camera, but so much more versatile OS).

Nokias are generally good with cameras I've heard But I think N9 runs Symbian, which I'm sure is a dying platform.

There's a ton of apps I miss in Windows phone, and it's also restricted and locked in many ways, so I'll probably get myself something with Android.

Some shots I've taken with my cellphone. Even though I made a mistake buying a phone with Windows, the camera is alright.

My guess is that the rear bumper, the spoiler and the exhaust adds 20hp each. And I guess the blue lights adds around 5hp. The CD player adds another 10 hp, doesn't it?

By the way, thanks for advice! Will try it someday, but I think cofee + bailies is my favorite combo

My mom made me try coffee with bailys. Tastes good, and has a little taste of chocolate, but the after-taste was enough to keep me away from it.

Since I'm both a cosplayer and gadget geek I just couldn't help it.

Edit: If you don't know what this is, it senses the user's brain activity and the ears goes up and down and rolls depending on their mood.

Doesn't seem to have the same charm as the original N64 verson, but it hasn't bothered me too much. If it will, I might go over and buy the original.

I'm a quite heavy sleeper and can neve have enough alarm clocks, so I bought some alarm clock software for my 3DS. So far I have 3 on my watch that's nearly quiet, 3-4 on my cell phone, one on my DS lite, and i've happened to sleep through all of this.

Quote from theirishnoob :since the XRT is basically a starion, could we no at the least gt a 4wd version of it ?? perhaps a little lighter with diff interior ( comunity modder compeititon ?? ) perspex style windows etc...

if not, steal the info of the Galant... instant win

XRT with 4wd would be pretty much like RB4. However, I'd like to see an RB4 with boxer engine (lower center of gravity) with a bit more power and a more durable clutch.

Quote from m1n3rman :The cars i would like to see in S3
LXR : GTR of LX6 (too many noobs drive lx6 and needs to be faster)
TRA : ford transit van! (VE86) - should be interesting in cop chases on cruise servers
SV3 : Ford supervan 3

Why should any cop on a cruise server drive a van? The luggage room won't have any use, and it's slow and heavy, you could easily outrun it in a UF1. Maybe if there's another car on the road, the cop can use it as a projectile by crashing into it to send it flying into the suspect.
