The Irish National LFS Championship has finally returned after nearly three years! The league was originally set up by Ireland's very own nikimere. Niki had set the league up as an multi nation league, but we feel there is enough of us "Paddys" to keep it Irish only. We have kept Monday night as the night for races with qualifying beginning at 19:30 GMT. The league will run the XFG and will have six race nights with each consisting of two races, a sprint and a main race. The sprint race will be roughly fifteen minutes long with the main race thirty minutes long. The league will begin on Monday 1st of March and run through every Monday night for five weeks, with the concluding event taking place on Monday 5th of April.

We are all in this for a bit of fun but we also want to know, "Who is the best Irish LFS'er huh?"

I would request that everyone be on the server 5 or 10 mins before the start of qualifying.

Quali will start at 20:00 sharp! We will not wait for anyone.

Qualifying: "Super pole"
You get 1 lap out of the pits, when you cross over the start/finish line for the 1st time you will start your one and only qualifying lap.
After your lap is over you must spectate again.

Race 1:
This race will be approx. 15 mins in duration. Please check the calendar for the number of laps per race.
The grid will be ordered as per the qualification times.

After the 1st race we will end race and take a short break.
Then we will order the grid for Race 2.

Race 2:
This race will be approx. 30 mins. It will be run with the top 8 reversed from the results of Race 1.

Was better than I expected tbh, I only did a few laps last night and a few before quali. So i was happy with 2nd best RAC

Race 1
This race was good fun. I only had 1 opportunity to pass Jouman and in hindsight, it was pretty stupid. Such a terrible place to attempt an overtake (t3). Anyway, I kinda felt like God how I managed to pull it off Next I caught up with Dave, and I was basically sniffing his hole for the remainder of the race, pretty frustrating but enjoyable overall. Position 4.

Race 2
Got a pretty decent start, and with Jouman, the only FZ, going wide at the hairpin I had a good feeling. Unfortunately I caught the draft of Gavin and had nowhere to go so let off and me and jouman were side by side going into T3. I locked up the front and my arse kicked out, prompting me to hit jouman. I gave his position back, but by doing so I left Dave and Fred through too. The next lap Fred and Jouman had a little coming together at the long right hander before the tight mid section, and I slipped through. Onto Dave then, was pretty much stuck behind him again for most of the race. We caught Gavin and Klouczech and then Gavin spun at final corner. I had a good battle with Klouczech for a few laps, then tried to overtake at T3, unfortunately, I tapped him and he spun. Then was behind Dave again for the last few laps.

Good races!

Now to kill Dave for frustrating me in both races!
