From what I understand, I wouldn't recommend it. If you can, wait and buy shocks and springs at the same time. I am sure you would have a better ride and experience that way.
I think some people are bashing Raikkonen without any real reason. I mean, c'mon, give the guy a break. He's at a brand new team with a slower car than the McLarens at the moment. He still has time to prove himself. For comparison, look at Alonso in today's race, how many times did he cut the first chicane? Not something I expect from the 2 time world champion but I am still not going to say he has no talent. If Ferrari's performance betters as the season goes on, I am sure Kimi will compete with the front-runners.
And before someone brings up Hamilton, his case is quite different IMO. He's always been under McLaren; he's not really new to the team, and I think that really helps him perform well.
Wow, what a dramatic race this was: from Kubica's horrible accident to Sato's amazing drive and Hamilton's first win. Looks like Hamilton's got the championship lead for real now.
Edit: Just read tristan's post, that's very saddening to hear, I was hoping he would be unscathed somehow.
So TC is banned for 2008 but they are thinking about bringing it back in 2011. I don't know about anyone else, but I think there is something wrong with their logic. Why ban something only to bring it back? Just ban it for good.
This article makes it sound like F1 will become like every other racing series. I mean F1's appeal is that its completely different from everything else, and also its amazing technological innovations. F1 wouldn't be F1 without each team coming up with their own technology; if everything was standardized, I'd probably stop watching F1. I really hope the teams do not agree to these rules.
Well, I mean electric motors could be using electricity NOT generated by non-renewable sources.
As for putting in food, and getting work done, the food would be better off going to the millions of people dying of hunger everyday IMO. And there's better sources of energy than food.
I have to say though, it's a very interesting idea and concept indeed.
