Using peltier coolers is pointless: a) you´ll need an insane cooler b) you´ll need a huge power supply (better an own power plant) c) PC´s can´t really deal with condensing water which might appear

And the option is not caused by a firewall of course, but I think it is there to prevent people looking for the "bug" that is actually not there

I think this is because your firewall may recognize that the LFS exe is a different version now.
This is normal, because if a program has been changed it could be due to a virus.
So you have to tell your firewall that it is actually the same lovely LFS as before ^^
So I think the standard option for "window while connecting" should be "yes" - simply because some ppl could get an error message by their firewall and in full screen they would not see it
