Have been watching your times unvail... I will post up your overall times once Matti finishes this last stage and will add mine to them later on this evening when I do the rally
You will need a fresh RBR install in your documents, the RSRBR 2012 mod, the full car pack, the full track pack and the online fix posted above. That should do it and you would be able to make the rally at 20:30 UTC no problem.
On another note could everyone please let me know their RSRBR online name so as I can match up names to times in the results.
Both Sessions are now hosted... you will be able to join at the times shown by the sessions and the first stage will commence 15 minutes after the start time.
Note : SS7 will not be included in the results due to an error on my part with one being at night and the other not. However a mention will be given in the results to the fastest driver through the stage at both night and during daylight.
Ok... I will host two rallies today with the password : liveforspeed
I will take results and put them out after the event has taken place. Please use either the N4_1 or N4_2 car packs or I will not include you in the results.
Times for events will be roughly 18:00 GMT and again at 20:30 GMT. Go to either, or even go to both although in the interest of fairness I will only record your first result should you go to both unless you fail to finish any stages in your first attempt due to a computer crash etc....
Keep an eye out on the public sessions later on.
Thanks,
Oscar.
P.s - Damage will be set to realistic for the time being.
Guys, how would you all feel about a rally over the 2nd and 3rd of January.
You would only have to do one day but I could set up 2 rallies a day to accommodate everyone with a time that suits them. Based on what has been said I am thinking for this test to run the N4_1 and N4_2 packs as they house the P-WRC cars and give us a good base to start off with.
The rally will be 10 stages and seeing as it is a practice event there will be a service after every stage. Each surface will be driven on at least twice so as both good and bad conditions can be tested.
A provisional stage list will be released in the next couple of days.
If this poses any issues for those interested please let me know.
I find the RSRBR interface is so strong. And with physics that granted are not perfect but are still more than adequate I think it is the best option for a league.
As some of you may know RSRBR 2012 was released during the past week and brought with it a bundle of new content and the promise of updates coming very soon.
I was wondering about the number of people here on LFS who play Richard Burns and if any of you would be interested in a league going into the new year.
Any suggestions are appreciated and will be listened to.
Round 3 of the LFS Super GT Series will be streamed for your viewing pleasure.
Two classes, GT500 and GT300, will compete at Kyoto National Reverse.
This round marks the second use of the Qualifying Heat Race format, in which teams outside the top 10 in points fight for the right to race in the main event!
The 30-minute Qualifying Heat Race begins at 17:00 UTC, followed by 20-minute qualifying sessions at 17:40. The 90-minute Main Race begins at approximately 18:15 UTC.
I am starting a league over in iGPmanager which is a F1 managing game that was released on 11/12/2011. (Yesterday)
It is the sort of thing that anyone can do (as it is F2P) and also can be fun to do if you are bored.
Anyway. The league itself is called 'LFS F1 league' over in iGP and is open to anyone with access to this forum and the password which will be posted out to anyone interested via a pm on this site.
Race time will be at 17:30 GMT each Saturday and the races will be run at 50% distance with each team being allowed to field 1 car (or 2 should you become a premium member). At the present moment there will be no prizes for winning but should the opportunity present itself for prizes to be produced for this league then I will implement them at a later date.
To get involved register at igpmanager.com and search the leagues list for this league.
That is not a problem... infact, what all sim racing fans have been asking Simbin for is a NEW GTR game which uses the GTR formula. So in my mind they are set to do the job properly and well. Also, the teaser is very good, keeps you guessing, makes you want to know more.
If anyone can please could you put together a skin much like the one in the following pictures with the number 42 on both doors and on the roof for me to drive in next weeks Kyoto 150?
