Would u find a separate slider just for Hand/E/P/Brake usefull ?
It would affect only the amount of braking power of the rear brakes when pulling or pressing the handbrake lever / button ...
no matter digital or analogue
I would , specially for autox / Rallycross / drifting ...when making a tight u turn ... like in WRC
forexample ...
I like my braking power setting, except for those u-turns , and sometimes other driving
techniques don't work as good for it IMO
Also if u chose no ... why not ?
Edit 10/04 : Here's an example where I could use more powerfull / or maybe a quicker
handbrake... ( Especially in the last turn and sometimes in the opposite end U-turn in addition
to weight shifting etc ... depends much on the situation, and not always needed, but since yet
I am not a machine=allways same perfomance at every lap , the handbrake SOMETIMES saves
me from crashing )
The replay, and the layout so you can try it for yourself ( Fun ) :
During the time I've been in LFS tracks It has numerous times been helpfull
to newcomers and more experienced drivers ( as told by them ) to make
a PRINT out of the LFS keyboard commands / shortcuts / online commands
U can find them in various languages in the folder you installed / extracted
LFS ... forexample : c:\Program Files\LFS S2 Alpha V\Docs\ keys.pdf
it has been very usefull even though all this being very OBVIOUS to many
of us, so i take the risk of double posting ( done a quickie search ) etc ...
And of course if someone asks , feel free to advice on them to have a look
of the document if it has helped you ( heheh )
LoL I thought that we all were friends and polite outside the race track,
and saved our breath to tough & fair racing, but it seems that were not all
perfect, except few one ...
Life ain't fair, but that's not a good reason anybody to be unfair imo
P.S. Just thinking out loud to myself ..... this is not a reply to anyone
especially
Edit: Hmmm just had a thought (lol ) Would it be a good idea to solve PERSONAL arguing
via the Private messages ?
I think what u want is more possible in rFactor "enviroment" than here in LFS
There are numerous mods/cars to rFactor so you may want to try that,
if u want things like that ( Just my opinion )
LFS seems to be more "Serious" (LOL) and Competition/FAST oriented
simulator. =_0
Yeah I have to agree on that one after some experimenting
The thought came from having still a while an ancient set ( XP1700+ 640SDram , Radeon 9250i ) though i have to praise Scawier for making
such an awesome programming job, that it's very playable ( if less than 20 online same time at some tracks SOclassic forexample. Depends on ping too)
Planning of course to upgrade soon as possible, but the setup hasn't cost me in a 4 year period more than 150€ (including red MOMO bought as new in 2004 and a DVDR), due to working a year in a recycling center. I mean that the Momo is still as good as new though driven since new DVDR less a year old (50€) and 21" CRT ( 2001 model , but used just one year)
So i think i have got my moneys worth of fun.
SnagIt32.exe - Program I used to capture the screen ( SnagIt . Nice one btw )
tschelp.exe - SnagIt Component
ad-watch.exe - The active spyware quard - part of Ad-Aware 1.06
sdhelp.exe - Spyware Doctor Helper
StarWindService.exe - Hmm why I have this recollection, that it had
to do with somekind of copy protection forexample for rFactor, that I have.
Though I'm propably wrong ...
Yeah I got to Google a bit, but if someone really KNOWS these, and has
the experience/s to share I would still appreciate it.
LoL U see I'm kind of thinking out loud , and answering to my own questions too heheh,
and Google IS my friend ... I sometimes just need a little motivation by doing like this, which is weird, but then again that's partly what I am =_0
Blakjekaas ... i'm a bit slow i guess, (lol) but i managed to think,
I meant when standing still. While on the move and pressing " I " =Ignition
it acts like it should(?) but imo a real car don't behave like it does in LFS ...
the engine turns off like a Wartburg in slow motion ( same goes returning back to iddle while off gear ... and while in neutral the clutch doesn't affect it
"And you aren't turning the engine completely off when you press "I"... You are just cutting the ignition " Well how DO you turn the engine completely OFF in real car then ??? =_0
@James : Lol good point about the battery gauge, since u can now "drive" endlessly with starter motor
