I have now installed Double Wishbone suspension to the car and this steering issue is now gone. Thank you for your feedback, stay tuned for an update to the mod!
I was indeed just using the spacers in the menu. With the Double Wishbone suspension installed I now have them properly spaced with with 0 virtual offset. Thank you for your inquiry!
OMG WHAT A VEHICLE. If you're playing LFS, you need to see a group of these trucks all in a pack hitting jumps. It's one of the required experiences in this game. FANTASTIC vehicle, great job on all parts.
Needs a fix for the driver side mirroring, but I'm sure there's an update on the way
Features:
1003 bhp V6 based off of a Nismo R35 engine but boosted to 25.6 psi.
All wheel drive
Widened fenders and overall track
Total downforce on the default setup is -6225 N (adjustable)
Kept the suspension type the same from normal RB4
To do:
Finalize handling
Finish the kit (front fender cuts, rear wing, turbo intake)
Rear diffuser and change exhaust
Race interior
Make closed headlights an optional config
Choose if I want to change these wheels or not, idk
This car has a LOT OF POWER. 700 HP in an XRT is a madman's idea.
Drifting this mod is hilarious. The current tire model just does not keep up with the power and tire width, and drifting a typical layout will give you 2 laps at max before it gets really worn in the rear.
I'll give it props as a racing vehicle as this is probably the fastest road legal mod so far (in a straight line). The only thing holding it back is lack of any sort of downforce, which would help with this crazy power. If this wants to be a "serious track weapon", a rear wing at least would help tons.
In all seriousness, really good job on the overall modelling and configurations on this car. It can't be understated how much detail went into this mod. The multiple configs take the cake with the different eras represented in one mod.
One of, if not the most challenging but rewarding cars to drive right in this game.
This mod is so much fun racing with a lot of people. It's so tiny, that there's still a lot of passing room even with 5 people around you LOL.
I LOVE that it isn't a kart and more of just a shrunken down UF1. Full on H pattern stick shift and really dynamic suspension for such a small thing. The deep wheels and the little engine poking out are the best.
This is the most cartoonish car in the best ways possible.
I would love another pocket mod of another iconic car, like XRT, XFG, or even an open wheeler! They'd still have things like a little engine poking out and really small wheels hahaha
It would be nice to add some variety but still have them competitive with each other.
This car is some of the fun driving I've had in LFS. I think you really nailed the engine and overall lightness of the car. Drifting and racing this this is a really fun experience.
The looks are very nice as well. Well done on the rear modelling and the wheels. Really sets it apart from the sea of other XR mods.
It would be cool if there was a popup/sleepy eye configuration!
I think you forgot to switch it to a v8 like you wanted! It still says Inline 8. Unless of course, you're talking about the Mercedes Inline 8 from the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. That'd be a cool engine swap! (Not sure how you fit it in XRT)
Something that would be nice is a small review section underneath the modded car listings. Not everyone is making their own forum thread for feedback on their cars. I understand that and they shouldn't need too. BUT some feedback on some of the mods to make them better would be nice for the creator to see.
Is there any way to save your own engine .engs for a modded car? I will edit the sound with SHIFT A, go in the pits, and it changes back to the default sound after I leave pits.

Not sure how changing the front tires to supers would create closer tandems. Did you also do some restriction/ballast changes on FZR?
I'm still convinced that matching 285 rears for XRR would be better, as FZR just walks away from XRR in the tandem. This would also help against the fast tire wear problem as the thicker tire takes longer to wear out. (FZR still wears out fast, but not nearly as fast as XRR.)
I still see this being the best solution all around. I understand that drifting wasn't the main focus with this patch, and with this idea suggested it still isn't.
In the end drift cars require different specs than more grip focused cars.
I know that you probably haven't drift tested the cars yourself Scawen but this idea is aligned with all of the feedback I've heard from my many associates I drift the most with.
Congratulations, you ruined it.
What do you mean you "dont like fact that tires in XRR in drift spec are wider on rear than in front"? The car was fine the way it was in U18. If you're looking for more front grip, I recommend turning front tire PSI down.
But now the rear tires are too small in the rear for XRR. It does not make much sense that FZR and XRR are the same horsepower, but have different rear tire sizes. If the XRR had the same rear tire sizes as FZR (285 rear) it would be much better for keeping up with each other.
These are the realistic tire sizes for cars with this amount of horsepower.
There's people that can read a room and then there's people asking for XRR engine swaps immediately after Scawen says that he's not looking for any off topic ideas.
Making the drift community as a whole look bad. None of my friends that I know want these ideas to be in the game (XFR Drift config and XRR V8 swap LOL)
Trust me, we get that. But have you seen some of the crazy bigger drift layouts being made? It would be nice if it had the same friction as tarmac roads. Right now it feels like going from tarmac to ice where there's a transition between them.
I prefer the idea of a toggle for concrete friction or tarmac friction on the objects. That way both sides would be happy.
With even more fun racing and drift events on the horizon, we would love to have more join the ride! We are still accepting new drivers for 2020, just post below or hit me with a DM on discord (mecha doodle#0001) if you're interested
Hello! My team is Cybermob and we host a public discord server where we announce weekly competitions! During the down time we play LFS nearly every day, whether it be drifting, stunt races and now recently we've been making gymkhana layouts. Click the image below to join!
