I never knew there are guys who need the speedometer that much. What I often look at is the gear change indicator light. After a corner it's nice to see if it blinks a bit earlier than on the previous laps, so I know my new line through that corner worked better. (or sucked ) But that's after. The gear and RPM you hear are enough for measuring the speed. I really have to concentrate on watching the track when entering a corner, otherwise I'd probably find myself in the nearest wall everytime

Quote from Gentlefoot :Try getting this codec http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

In fact I had that one already and reinstalling it didn't help.
Good luck to you finding the FF problem anyway

I'm using Opera and having the same problem with the vids. You might have a piece of IE-only code there... Maybe the codec is just missing here though...

Now that's the kind of racing I'm searching online
I wish the server could attract a few more racers with good pace and fair attitude... Anyway, I'll check this server everytime I get online

Hehe, glad you like LFS! And I bet there are people who ask "why are you playing that bloody computer game as your M3 is waiting for you?"

If you're new here, maybe you're not familiar with Force Dynamics stuff http://www.force-dynamics.com/video.php
I can imagine how you tell us in your next post that you're a wee bit excited and ordered one

Actually you don't need profiler for that. I made that script in LFS once. Unfortunately my gaming computer is dead so I can't attach the script file but take a look at the readme file, you'll find the relevant commands there IIRC.

It was 4 years ago, one of my friends told me about "a simple and free online racing game" as it was those days.

LFS had recently moved to 0.2 demoversion...
Thrustmaster Formula T2... XF GTi at BL2.

It was going to be the first proper driving game after NFS Porsche. And it was just something way better

The controller happens to be an important factor in racing. I couldn't imagine myself enjoying LFS as much with mouse as with a proper wheel. Even a cheaper one makes driving easier, more fun and more natural. Of course practicing is important, but at the beginning you will learn quickly!

Just keep practising and concentrating on the throttle pedal. As sad as it is, FXO doesn't seem to have real drawbacks compared to RB4 and XRT... so it's really competitive when leaving a corner. If you have a proper setup (I use rather oversteering one) and if you manage to keep your tyre temps down enough, you'll get it quite easily

I had exactly the same problem with momo pedals. I fixed it with DXTweak and it seems to work rather well. With my pedals the throttle pedal spike is the same everytime, so as I once tuned it precisely it'll be ok after any spike

Aww, what an instrument! :heartbeat
I used one for 7 years, and it's still really steady compared to my Momo Racing Force

I'm like at home in my new Lemon'n'Lime car, I don't think it's necessary to make a new one right now.
Thanks for making this nice green'n'yellow thing! :bananalla

Of course. I thought a version without 'FAC' and 'Prophy' would be more useful... So here they are.

Quote from BlueFlame :add as many logos as you want friend

I just added a little carbon fiber in the rear wing and the FAC logos. I think it looks rather fast! :heyjoe67_
Thanks for making the great gradient mate!

Oh my, neat colours mate! May I have the skin file? It would be nice to use that one on track
I would only need to add the FAC logo in there
