Quote from Woz :I hope the GTR cars allow the choice of seq or H. I know the ausie V8s run H pattern.

Also if you have an H pattern its just more fun than seq

Agreed on this one. A choice for the GTR's would be good.

False starts would rock, and it would make the drag racing actually have a point. I'm hoping with the G25 to see better clutch/shifter stuff soon. at the mo, can just smash it through the gear, then kick the clutch for super fast shifts.

Anyone know the command for adjusting virtual clocks? I want virtual clocks in the MRT5 as with an FOV of 80, I can't see the real dash!

Really cool, love the views from in car, but not drivers eye view. Plus nice showing off of the awesome LFS tyres

Been curious about TrackIR for a while... are they worth it? One of those things i'd like to try, but I dunno anyone who's got one.

Quote from Blowtus :I would love to get rid of the pointless 'steering' display, myself. I've got a wheel in front of me, I know how far I've turned it...

Agreed, a simple toggle ON/OFF for each of the gauges/displays would be nice

Quote from chp101 :...Btw rotation view for LX4/LX6 cannot be returned to 0.00° (only to 0.88°) for some reason (move slider for custom view to 180° and back)...

Right click on the slider, type in "0"

Also get a crash on the controller screen when pressing buttons. Works fine for normally asigned controls (horn, TC etc), but when I press a button bound to a CTRL+F key script command LFS crashes out.

EDIT: U30 fixed it... before I finished pressing "Post Reply". Good going!

Cockpit view... tempted to play with some custom views though, as in some cars part of the dash is obscured by the wheel (and I want the wheel on!).

FOV is 75, and 90 for the MRT.

Was a fun race! Was awesomely outclassed, respect due to the guys from cyber racing. You scare me, but in a good way.

Sadly I managed the most pathetic bow out of a race, but losing the back end under the bridge, and sticking the back tyres in a gravel trap. Doh.

Still, was fun while it lasted and very clean racing from what I saw.

Perhaps it might slow and stop if the opposite wheel was stuck in the dirt and the LSD comes into play?

I'd hope so, 'cos the Logitech G25 is on the way, and I want one!

On mouse over of any of the buttons it shows the course map/distance top right or something? Refreshes the old brain on what track is called what? If the current number system has to stay, could also show the track name when mouseovered?

Good idea, but drag will be silly until there's the starting in neutral/false starts thing. Be ace for normal racing too.

It's still my favorite of the GTR's even with the lag, just because I grew up on the GT, then GT turbo.

Bi-turbo?

Brilliant movie! Loved how the footage worked with the build up of the tune, with the manic busy grid sections at the high of it all. Excellent.

If anything a little overuse of the blurryvision effect, but that's Just a minor nitpick. Fantastic stuff

In previous versions of LFS, you used them to unlock the faster cars. Now they're just nostalgia (pointless...)

virtually no difference with either driver (Omega versions), around 90fps. Not using any AA or AF though... not sure if that's relevant.

EDIT: AMD 3200 Barton.
