well.. im an architecture student, and i must admit that i make ALL my models in autocad before importing them in 3dsmax for mat/light/render.
autocad is the most precise way to make anything..
and btw, u can render with autocad, u should just get Autodesk Viz Render and link ur autocad model with it
(dont expect 3dsmax results though.. its more about rendering buildings)

i dunno about Brazil, but if it was VRay, then u should just add more bounces in the global illumination settings.. (primary and secondary).
Also try fixing the images by playing with the Level settings in photoshop (Image>Adjustments>Levels, then slide the 3 controls to the left/right to see how it works)

here's the tip i gave to TraXXion..
if u want coloured rims on ur cars, just go to the materials panel, choose the rims one (usually id4 on the list), click on the little "M" box next to Reflect and edit the 2 colours u see on top..
for black rims i just changed grey to black, and white to grey, depending how dark u want ur reflections..
for gold rims i replaced grey with: R,G,B=172,154,82

hello, i installed brazil, but when i try to run 3dsmax i get "missing mtlgen.dll" and it cant start..
any ideas?

maybe a reason Blender wont load them is cause of the type of materials. for example Ian's models use Brazil materials instead of standard ones, so that might be confusing it.. or even, it might not support the multi-sub-map material..
other reason might be a miss polygon count, or a miss smooth.

my R5 GT Turbo came with 0,9bar pressure industry default, i was only able to take it up to 1.5bar, and that was only when i was racing. I would then stop, and drop it to 1.1 or 1.2 for just going around and 0.9 for the highway (cooling & gas problems)

id like to be able to change the pressure of turbo in LFS.. that would be so nice

my parents put it on sale cause i tuned the shit out of it and i went to the races every night.
im thinking about going to the shop and buying it, then they cant do anything about it anymore
