By the way we decided to use this thread for all matters (yes, I know, might be confusing) but as long as you guys behave and follow the thread I guess it'll be ok. Maybe next year we'll get a subsection.

Quote from atledreier :The thread turned into a pissing contest, as usual. There is another thread that seems promising, where we back stuff up with real life videos and stuff.

I agree the driving off road is enjoyable and believeable enough to be fun. Driving on a hard surface just expose so many underlying issues that it detracts from the fun.

I am amazed how little the devs seem to understand about tires and their inner workings, though.
They literally said that they didn't undestand where the low speed wobble came from... "uhm, you 12-segment tires, perhaps?"

Quote from CodeLyoko1 :oh, god omg they are still learning the working of the tyrs omg omg. I mean seriously, they concentrate on the soft body physics. That's what they are good at, not tyre physics and their working. It's not a racing simulator man, it's crash physics. Also it's still in early alpha, so they have enough time to understand the tyres.

He has a point. atledreier, there's the door, now get out.

Quote from CX883 :How is it pesky, you're not trying to imply that you're gay are you?

Of course not.

Just saying no one's going to do this.

I found another girl a long time ago anyway...

Quote from Cornys :Being that I was going to try and start an MRT league on Wednesdays before I was referred to this thread by Rony, you can assume that I'm interested

No reason for me to create another league. If the event times are right I'll be there

Yeah sue me for stealing your idea like 4 months ago.

Anyways you're more than welcome to take part in this series!

FYI I were testing/preparing the layouts with CodeLyoko1 from 4:30PM to 9:30PM through a Skype call while driving and laughing all the time for shit.

In all seriousness we got some nice material for a teaser video though!

Quote from Neon145 :I Need a great XRG Rally setup that wont spin out at dirt so easily. i mean it loses traction very easily. so i checked setupgrid and setupfield,no luck, all setups spins out easily so anyone haves a setup that wont spin the car at dirt?

Well, considering XRG is a rear-wheels drive and thus slips more easily than say XFG, it's hard to make setups like that. And if it is possible it will make the car much more slower due to the ridicously increased grip. I'd say you should start practicing with the setups you have now, the truth is you could go much faster with slippier setups.

And, in case you haven't noticed it yet, rallycross is all about getting sideways and drifting on dirt.

It has been a long time since the concept of the series was invented back in April, but now the wait is almost over! Just a month remaining and the lights shall go off for the first time!

I'd say fixed setups mean you can change some things on them, while open means you can do anything (unless if tyre rules apply and such).

Quote from PeterN :At this point nkPro feels better than Assetto Corsa to me. This may be due to my framerate not being very good in AC though, and of course the cars and tracks are different.

The graphics are better in AC already in my opinion, although AC doesn't fully support FFB yet so yeah nKPRO is quite good. However the physics are difficult to compare as AC currently has just 1 car and track to test.

Quote from Neon145 :its so frustating to get 30000 ml for me... it can take ages for me..

Rules are rules, and you have to go with them. No exceptions. It's unfortunate you registered just now and you will most likely not reach that amount of drive.

Tbh you should just stick to demo as it is since you clearly require practice (especially looking at your stats) so buying S2 would be a needless "diving board". You won't get any better by getting S2, you must train harder first.

Saying that racing is boring while you like it is just ridiculous, you need to get around that boringness since you still have a lot to practice to match the other faster demo drivers out there. Either way, if you really want to get S2, you have to buy it since your experience isn't enough for winning a challenge.
