GTS Motorsport is organising a test race for an upcoming league, involving endurance racing and the very infamous LX cars.


Introduction

- The event will be a multi class event, consisting of LX6 (GT1) and LX4 (GT2)

- The race will take place on Saturday (27th March 2010).

- The purpose of this event is to see, if this sort of endurance racing will be popular or not.

The race

- The race will take place on Westhill International

- The duration of the race will be 4 hours long.

- Race starts at 12:00 UTC,

- Race start procedure, includes a parade lap under the pace car, and then a flying start under the green flag. Cars will drive single file behind the pace car, upon reaching the last 2 turns onto the start/finish straight, the pace car will vacate the track, and the cars will form a double file formation. Once everything is in order the marshals' signal green flag and race begins.

- In case of disconnect, you may reconnect and continue your race, you will however be penalized 1 lap for the disconnect.
- In case you flip your car over, or you sustain major damage and are unable to make it back to the pits, you are allowed to Shift + P, and continue your race, but you will be penalized 1 lap.

- GT1 cars are responsible for the safe overtaking of GT2 cars, but if a GT1 car intends to overtake a GT2 car, and maneuvers as such, then the GT2 car must not 'close the door' on the GT1.

Qualification

- The qualifying session will be one day before the race, in this case on Friday( 26th of March) at 18:00 UTC.

- Qualifying will be 1 hour long, and will include all cars on track.

- During the qualifying session, shift + P and shift + S are allowed, however give way to traffic on fast laps, after entering the track, and while exiting the pit lane.

- Only one driver of each 'team' is allowed on track, if he or she spectates, then another driver from that team is allowed on track. At any given point no more then 1 driver per car per team on track.

Notes

- This will be a team based event, requiring minimum 2 drivers per team per car.

- Teams can sign-up for both cars, but only one team per car.

- The drivers from the GT1 class must not intertwine with the drivers from the GT2 class, teams must delegate separate drivers for each class (if the team chooses to participate in both classes)

- Bellow you will find info about the sign-up procedure.

Yes it was my mistake, im sorry for it, because of lag, i had the impresion you were going to go to the left and make room, so i floored it and went for the right... but it wasnt the case, lfs placed you back on my racing line, and i had nothing to do

For all backmarker cars, please respect the blue flag.... stop blocking and give way to the faster cars.... especially 7karat guys

I tried making it HD, 720p, but no matter what codec i used to encode, (through premier cs4) it came out all s***ty, with absolutley no anti aliasing, eventhough the original video had anti aliasing....

As you can see youtube, has the abiliti to stream the 720p version however it looks like crap.

Well thanks guys for the comments, yes thats a remix, Paul Oakenfold remix to be exact. (i stated in the end credits so that youtube doesnt delete it)

As for the empty road i wanted to add some text, to take away the boredum but, i brainstormed 2 whole days, didnt come up with anything catchy and simple, i left it blank.

On a windows xp machine, would there be a possibility to start the dedicated server... hidden? And when i say hidden, i mean the LFS Dedi window to be hidden, minimised as a small icon in the tray or, not visible at all.

Or at least in the taskbar?

Would there be a special suffix/parameter which needs to be written after lfs.exe is launched?

Hi guys, some of you may know me, some of you may not. Some of you may have heard of the Romanian LFS Team called prodrive' racing.

Well i made this small movie/video, in order to say good bye to this team, as it is now called GTS Motorsport.

Hello, dont know if its been said, or if its a known issue, but eversince i installed Z19, (havent tried z20 yet) im cannot click anything in the Options Menu, cannot adjust volumes etc etc. Its like the buttons dont exist, and are not clickable.


Also in shift - U mode, in order to select to folow a player you must click on the speed selection (not the Yes/No next to folow player)

I deleted the old lfs tune files, and just unziped 2.2 into LFS Folder then tried running lfs tune

sadly i must retire, from the grid, as this weekend ill be away, at a mountain resort. Sorry folks... maybe someone on the waiting list will take my spot. See you next time
