Hello i am having a bit of trouble, i am currently hosting two LFS Servers on my computer, they are both running fine, one is a demo, and one is an S2. On the S2, i managed to get VCOM working properly. I fiddled around with Setup.dat of the other VCOM,(changed ports etc) but when i run another instance of vcom, i simply closes. Please help me Ty in advance. Please dont flame if this subject has already been discussed.

Hmm, the guy that turns down sex, just to play a video game is a huuuge looser, because (an no ofense to the dev's) after all the simulation, LFS is still a video game.

Thing is, i dont have a BL1R setup, im running with a BL1 setup, which locks the front left tyre in the T1, T2 combination, hence i get a lousy 30 laps, which far less then what it could do. I tried lowering the brake power, and the bias, but still same effect. What should i do?

I often do that. I stop my car on the side of the road and wait... Sorry thats not the case. As chief police officer of Carribean Cruise, let me be the one to notify you all. So far we have a well trained Police Unit, which can handle initial traffic but as traffic grows out of hand we will be recruiting other police officers. This will be done by an in game test.(Details will be released further). NO one is to place COP name unless he is authorised to do so, failure to respect this will be dealt with accordingly. I hope this clarifies things.

Well, cant wait to to start cruising, and cant wait to unleash my well trained police unit, to keep the streets safe, and clean.

darn and i was hoping to get a spot in Server 1, LKS and I are good buddies, and were participating in this event, to compete against each other, and other drivers. But anyway... its good enough

Id like to participate, though im not a demo racer.... If you guys want to let me in it would be great(maybe if all the spots dont ge filled up)

You all understood me wrong, when i talked about shaders, i dont necesarily want eye candy in this game, which lowers fps considerably, but at least use some sahders to create dynamic head lights, tail lights. Racing in LFS and say for example a faster car uses its flashes to signal to u, that you should move, well unless that car is very close, its hard to see in the mirrors, even with the highes LOD for mirrors. Im just sayin it would be nice, to(next to the texture change, add some flash effects to make the lights more visible). And on another note, wqhen we do go into night time racing, it would be nice to create some nice head lights, (that actually light up the road). Thats all that i want from LFS in DX9, nothing more. And yes your right, this did get way off topic. :P

I cant wait till we have 'All day driving' especially for the MOE, and the 25h LAN leagues, which have an all day race(24 hours), it should be interesting, and also different track temperatures, based on the time of day. Adding to this: a nice particle system using pixel shader 2.0, to create nice headlights, and tail lights(brakes, turn signals etc) but thats deviating from the subject.
Its good to know that so far, it doesnt affect the physics of the car, meaning the next MOE race shouldnt be a prob.

and the point of adding diff weather conditions is....?

Hi, i was wondering, if racing a GTR car, enduro, in different weather conditions on the same track, if the tires would be affected, temp wise, or if that hasnt already been programed? Ive tried WE1 with CLEAR and Cloudy Sunset, and it seems like tires act differently, i mean they dont heat up as much, in the same race pace.

Hi, first off i would like to apologise for making a new thread. I would like, if possible, for one of you guys which are experienced in 3d rendering, to render my recently made skin for the FXR. Or better yet if its not a huge hassle, send me the project file, after all the fiddling is done(which includes meshes etc) Because i know a little bit of 3d maxx, but not a lot, i can fiddle around with lighting and camera placements etc. If you could help me i would be very thankful.
