ehm, bump?

hi guys. heres a fun event to outlet the stress caused by serious ones
i set a soccer layout on our team server for fun, and it seemed quite popular, so i thought it would be cool to make it more organized. so, heres my idea:

the layout is based on the AU4 track (8 line drag), so it can handle 8 players. btw, 3-3 players on each side is more than enough. there are 2 teams, red and blue, and a ball (UF1). team players can pick cars from the TBO class (RB4,FXO,XRT). the aim is to push the ball behind the goal line. (thanks barlin for the help )

some rules:

- be careful with joining, the track has 1 spawn point, so watch out for double-join.
- only the ball can start the game, by counting down, and sayin GO
- u may not start before countdown ends
- u can pit/reset during the match, just dont block the spawn point
- u have to start from the goal line (or at least near to it)
- u can block others from getting the ball, just be gentle
- if a team scores, go back to ur goal line, and wait for the next round

a match could be 15-20 min long, or it could be played for 3 goals. thats all i think, hope u like it. if yea, ill make it more 'official'

edit: ah yea, the pointing system, it would be like in real soccer leagues, so 3/1/0 points.

i modified it a bit, my pb is 1.40.30 so far. give it a try

lfs changed my driving style a lot in rl. i usually brake a lot later, shift down faster/earlier, and take the turns on the 'ideal racing line'. sometimes it scares me i usually dont grab the wheel with both hands, cuz it makes me feel like im racing online. strange, but trueillepall

as cadet last corner, it kills me. its really hard to get a good braking point, and u can get some huge understeer if u go a bit faster. as3 last chicane, and the south city chicane r hard as well.

never really raced on oval, but count me and CJ in

he did it, but it was still way to sensitive on the lowest settings..

nah, wheel didnt work with his onboard soundcard, so he ductaped the mouse on the wheel to get some 'wheelish' feel

it looks really nice, but time format should be 00:00.00 instead of 00:00:00 i think.

i gave tweak's set a try, not bad at all managed to get 1:40.93 with overheated tyres, and constant 1:41.1x's in long races. i modded it a bit, 6th gear was way too short, and i found the brake bias a bit much, so heres my version.

edit: i have only like 40 laps on as3, so it might be good for some faster times..

this was fun i tried to move the wheel with my forehead, but ff was so strong my forehead just slipped off so i had to reduce ff almost totally. the 2nd problem was the screen, since i only managed to read the 'samsung' logo on the bottom of my tft so i ended up holding the wheel in the air. still, when i turned it i saw body of my momo only, so it was kinda fun

edit: also had some difficulties with using my chin to shift :P

wicked. arrow forgot to post some information bout today's race, so its up to me now.
we will have 35 laps on so town, pit is open between 6-29 laps. there will be a 15min practice / 15min qualy session. server will go private 15 mins before the race, the pass gonna be 'pina' again. good luck, and have fun

I would have used 295 x 9,5 as my ram clocked all the way up to 302Mhz without throwing errors. But my lousy asus board locks the ram divider to 333mhz each time i use half multipliers..so 280x10 will have to do

my abit an8 does the same when using .5 multipliers. im running it @9*300 w 1:1 rams (they top at 650). i just suck with the multiplier, since its a E6 3000+. 10*300 would be cool doh it tops at 9*335 in summer. will try some more as winter comes
