Just tried your modified .exe and it appears that it's what you said: click position and release position are different. It's like that only on side screens, whatever how you set them in LFS ( 1 - 1 - 1 or 1 - 1 - 0).
See the attached pictures: last click is when I clicked on the left number of screens.
I'd like to thanks Scawen for his very good work.
The feature I wanted (triple screen external views) is back, and now we can even adjust screen angles... very nice options
Just a little problem though: it seems that the said "Option to force external views to use full width"isn't saved.
I use SoftTh with 3 screens so I ran into this matter when I changed the number of screens. When LFS is set with 1 - 1 - 0 screens or the opposite, menus are moved to one side and buttons don't seem to work.
But in fact, it is possible to click the buttons. For example when everything was moved to the right I had to click more to the right, and below too. You just have to click randomly until you find one No need to delete anything, but I reckon it's not really comfortable.
First I'd like to congratulate you for all the good work you've done.
Now I have a little request : In 3 screens mode, could you make an option to let us choose wether to render external views on 1 screen or on all screens ?
I ask that because I prefer the old way those views were rendered (even with the FOV beeing too narrow), and I'd like to have this back
I'm not really posting a protest, I'm more asking for other opinions about 2 little incidents that occured between me and 555 - R. Gonçalves.
The point is I'm not sure if he had the right to "close the door" like he did, so I'd like your point of view.
Both happened during Race 3. 1st time was at lap 11, last turn before entering the oval part. 2nd time was at lap 13 right after 1st split, but this time I really don't know if he had to let me some room or if I just had to back off.
I'd like to add something after watching Race 3 streaming and thinking about it:
I knew the rule about "no overtaking under Safety Car" but when I got crashed, I don't know really why but to me it was like "normal" to regain my position, because it didn't seem "normal" to get pushed out, lose 6 positions and stay behind. On the moment, the "no overtaking" part felt more like overtaking one guy, whereas I was only taking back my "legitimate" position in the field. Now I know I was wrong and I shouldn't have done that silly move.
Of course, as I thought I was right, I didn't understand the 45s penalty which came next, so I got angry ( nice guess Astra btw ) and chatted. I want to apologize for that part too.
Maybe the rules should be more detailed for dumb people like me. For example it should be written something like "if you get crashed under SC, you're screwed, just stay in the back and post a complain afterwards, DON'T GET BACK TO YOUR POSITION".
Description - In lap 12, at T2, we all braked because the safety car went out, and Pickard (rc10racer) braked too late, pushing me out on the grass from 7th position to 13th position. It seems he got a drive through penalty for that thought.
Which Event / Session: Race 3

May I answer that I spoke 3 times in the 3 next laps, which I wouldnt describe as "continually for the rest of the race" ?
Pickard was penalised in the race for this misdemanour.
Chatting is an issue that will be dealt with in the penalties thread (coming soon)
Then good for me I wasnt listening to the comments
But I'll have a look at this stream when I have time... just to hear what you said
By the way, if I did that - overtaking under SC - it was because I was taken out (probably by Pickard as everyone says but I didnt see) and I didn't know about the "no overtaking under SC even if you get crashed" rule. My bad.
But to say what I think, this rule seems very unfair (and dumb) to me.
Unless there was some other way to be fair without giving me back my position ?
Other than that, Race 1 was a very good one for me, I enjoyed it.
Race 2 => Too bad there were 2 disconnections.
Race 3 => Started 6th, ended up last due to the penalty.
To my mind, not using engine braking would more be like not downshifting during the whole braking, and then downshift quickly just before you're gonna accelerate again.
But I'm not doing that... and when I do, it's usually because I screwed up my braking
I feel a little bad for XFusion team, I didn't expect this to happen that fast. Sorry guys.
Maybe we should have waited until all of you would be aware of Dennis leaving your team...
Anyway, thanks everyone for all these nice comments
Well, in fact we don't expect to have him for more than a week or two
It's nice to see that you really want to get better.
I didnt watch your replay, but from my own experience i'd say starting on a single-seater car may be a little bit too hard, since everything happens very fast on it, and especially spinning .
If you want to be fast with it, my advice would be to try to get more experience on road cars (XRG, XRT I'd say) until you understand how a rear wheel drive car reacts when trying to be fast. And then apply it to FBM.
Another thing: I think mastering how to countersteer is really important, otherwise you will spin out every time you get too optimistic with the throttle
Good luck, and remember that it takes much time to get really fast. Be patient and drive often !
