I used to be relatively good at getting a new PB in qually. However it's almost impossible to get a good lap in at some tracks through being blocked during a hotlap.
Yeah, it's sort of like a skill that some people like Boris and Storm_Cloud have, but people are still developing that skill. You guys have had S2 for at least 2 years, like 5 years in Boris' case. I've had S2 for like 7 months, Had my G25 for 3 weeks.... Plus i'm sure that next year there will be participants who will be less experienced than me.
I would like the idea of Q1, Q2 and Q3, although that wouldn't work due the amount of drivers who participate in each race - it's evident from this season that it will fluctuate. But then Dek's idea of driver contracts could combat that?

Sunday mornings will be an issue for me as well. Same goes for people like Woozy, Taha and Dek who will have to be up at 3am in the morning or around then. Sunday evening's seem more suitable, I am only available from 5pm GMT onwards on any given Sunday.
But yeah Dek, I do think extending qually to an hour will be a major improvement. As a result, drivers will actually be able to get their desired laptime, rather than being under pressure, and only being able to complete 3 or 4 laps within a 25 minute period. If people think an hour is too long, then join after 35 mins of qually!
I also agree with Paul regarding SC. Driving with ice cube tyres at a track like SO is madness.

The FE Gold incident wasn't your fault, mainly because you were not racing lol, it was between AMB and me...

Nothing's worse than doing 800 laps in two weeks at a track, only to be knocked off the track, taking the wrong route at the 2nd corner of the race... (Not necessarily a dig at you Taha, talking about FE Gold here).
But yeah I have noticed in general that people leave nowhere near enough space under the SC, or pay no attention to the map. I was hit about 6 times under the SC at AS7 - within about 3 laps.
Under the SC, i'm constantly watching the map, seeing where everybody is in relation to me.
Think about F1, cars slowing down together, then sprinting off to warm tyres under SC, exactly the same as LFS, people turn TC off to wheelspin the rears. TBH though, I think that next year, the SC should be FZR as it is a couple of seconds a lap faster than FXR. A lot of the time, we are trailing very slowly behind the SC - or maybe the SC driver should put his foot down a bit, and try not to spin? *cough*
