The emoticons (at least a few of them) are still available but you need to type in codes (eg. without spaces between the word and the : ) and I assume that the majority of LFS users don't remember them (unless you have great memory )
A celebration is worthy. Now that the problems are (almost) over (for the time being), Scawen can continue working on what he was working on before the VAT MOSS issues.
I didn't complain about anything because I'm OK with how LFS is being developed. If you have treated my last post in this thread as a complaint, then I'm sorry to say, that's not a complaint.
I just said to S.E.T.H. the force cockpit view maniac that instead of releasing a new feature to an incompatible patch (be it a track or something different) with flaws (be it serious or not) is a bit pointless.
Well the devs could just release the new westhill onto an incompatible patch (i can already imagine every active server updating their dedis to the most recent one and trying out the new track )
but I find that it would be a bit of a mistake. What if someone finds a flaw in the track (serious or not)? I find the idea of releasing it to a test patch very solid. If a flaw is found on a test patch, it can be corrected and a new test patch will be released. If the track has most of its issues solved, it can be released to a new incompatible official patch.
