I have already suggested, that 2/3 (or 1/3) of uncounted lap should be measured in seconds and then subtracted from the overall finish time. This would be a fair way to give teams the exact time they lost because of this bug, unlike giving them a full 1 lap which they didn't make.
However this would also change the overall standings on 3rd place, so I suppose this was also the reason why you made this decision (just my opinion of course).

It's the same with RB4 vs FXO and FXR vs FZR. No matter how good the driver is, a 4WD can't beat the other two cars, which are suppose to be the same class.
People who say the cars have equal chance on track obviously haven't driven in real competition.
Finishing 2nd with that underpowered FXR is great, gratz I hope it'll get some boost on next physics patch and become more competitive with the other two gtr cars.
It's already been said, ver. above 2.0.15 do not have this vulnerability. Most of phpbb hacks are a result of people using code, which is sometimes even several years old.
I've been told to use this patch by Logitech support, when I contacted them about my pedals. It indeed helps in some cases (pedals loosing calibration), so I recommend using it, since you won't loose your warranty.
It won't help if you get jumpy input from pedals. A software patch can't fix this problem (AFAIK).
DeXteRrBDN> Mekanik cheat is not the first, nor last. If devs knew how to make a bullet-proof system (if there's even is such a thing) they would already do it. You can offer suggestions how to prevent this cheat, if you have such information, but your post at this point isn't helping much.
My suggestion is, that there should be message when uploading hotlaps that any attempts at cheating with 3rd party software will result in permanent ban from all hotlap charts.
Don't want to get your hopes down, but you won't get nowhere near Biggies's RB4 WR. Tyre wear on FXO is not an issue with good setup and consistent driving. FXO gains about 2 seconds on each lap, even in long races.
Maybe you'll change your mind after you actually try the car yourself. Good luck :hide:
