It's unfortunate but because they cars are unbalanced race 3 is pretty much an fxr-fest, very few fzr in the races and rarely at the top of the timesheets.

How do you search through reports?

I consider myself a decent FZR driver but I only see super-aliens matching FXR with the FZR on the majority of tracks. I think the FZR could do with a little less restriction.

It can be particular tricky with dual class racing. On race3 the GT1 class can finish a minute ahead of GT2 and you hardly get a chance to get your breath back before CTRA restarts the race, never mind if a vote restart happens.

AlexC, I stand by my recommendation for CTRA. As others have correctly stated, the entry servers (race 1 & single seater 1) are a bit of a noob fest but once you get past those the quality of racing increases significantly. The players ability to race well is directly linked to their license so any people with poor racecraft are weeded out of the system as their licenses are reduced or removed completely. Race3 is my favourite and the quality of racing is superb.

Try progressing past the entry level server.

As I stated after years of playing LFS nearly everyday I have never found online racecraft as good as it is on race3, and before you denounce me as having lost my mind why don't you come along and try it?
