Is it just me that thinks that seinfed and alias driver is the same person posting different opinions? 
In a couple of weeks, once the GT5 gloss wears off, the thread starter is going to eat a huge slice of humble pie.
My understanding is if it uses active X components it won't work on windows mobile.
Personally I have played LFS nearly every day for 2+ years now but I have found my interest dropping since xmas.
Most of it is due to limited new content being released (cars\tracks). I have raced on the existing tracks thousands of times and driven all the cars. I seem to be approaching my limit on how long I can race on these combos.
In addition I'm not a huge fan of the new patch. Tyre heating is way off what it should be in my opinion and the slow gear change on the FZR has sucked all the fun out of my favourite car. I don't understand why gear change timing was slowed to help balance the FZR against the rest of the GTR's. Doesn't make sense to me, there are other, better ways of achieving balance.

He's changing the view to different cars.
One thing I have noticed is that on server CTRA Single Seater 2, where the Fo8 requires 20% intake restriction and 70kg balast, you cannot flatshift 5th to 6th. However, go on another server with no restrictions and you can flatshift OK. The reduced power affects the ability to shift.

In the display list of host screen, click the button marked all at the top right of the screen, then at the bottom right of the screen click yes against all the boxes listed, then click refresh. You might find there are a few more servers visible now

The new layout is excellent. Although I have done most of my racing on it in the FOX.
I was suffering mis-shifts in the FBM in 4th 5th & 6th until I read a comment from the dev. Basically, without using the clutch, you hold the gear change lever in (don't release) and when you blip the throttle it changes gear. This is different to the other cars and replicates the gear shift on the real FBM.

The Stig has been an F1 driver, Heikki Kovalainen was the stig when they took the Renault around the TG test track in under a minute.
