SP2 in not the problem, some people just like to blame the OS when they have something configured improperly. Try setting your IP in LFS back to auto and make sure you're forwarding both the TCP and UDP ports.
Under the Date & Time options, how is "Automatically detect DST settings" supposed to work? We set our clocks back an hour last night and the forum time is now off an hour. It seems like it should've changed on its own.
How about your drivers? Even if they're the same, you may have had it set to deliver better performance before and better graphics now. I'd also take a look at any extra programs running in the background.
I saw the thread and decided to leave it be while I went out for a quick bite to eat. Upon returning, it was up to 3+ pages and not much more than a mud slinging spamfest. That's why it was moved.
Click on your name and it'll be the last number in the link.
This is pretty damn freaky. I'm the 48th member. According to the transaction details, I was also the 48th person to buy S1 when it 1st came out... :hide:
When viewing something such as the main S2 Hotlaps page with all the world record holders, it seems to take too long. From what I can see happening, it looks like every single flag is loaded individually for the world record holders list. I'm far from a coding expert, but wouldn't it be possible to load a flag once and use the same image for every instance of that flag on a page? If so, perhaps there are other pages that could be tweaked to lower the page load time and also the server load.
It seems as if the instant e-mail notification is a bit overactive, I seem to be getting one for every new post in a thread. All that's really necessary is to receive one after leaving the forums. Otherwise, if there are 23 replies to a thread you'd get 23 e-mails. It just seems like a waist of resources to me.
AFAIK, I'm still the only mod listed here. If someone's going to say it's a bad choice to use RSC mods, it's pretty obvious they're talking specifically about me. C'mon, I can't respond to that?
