Upgraded NFS: road challenge FTW!

I just read about this, I'm glad they dropped it. The series really got crappier every year. They kept downgrading the game instead of making it better.
I didn't bother buying any of them after the first underground. Got Underground 2 and Most Wanted gifted to me, but I wouldn't buy any of them.
I hope the new team will make it break through again.

What do you use to resize? I think the images would look awesome without pixelating.
If you resize with paint shop or something, turn off the jpg compression.

Ok heres Audi (glass material should be more reflective, but still working on it) ( i have several projects ).



As you can see this car doesnt have such problems. Reflection are much more smoother and nicer.
Maybe test some other high poly cars too, but those later.

And I keep repeating that Vray materials are much more complicated and needs lot of work to get right. Glass has refraction settings, reflections , IOR etc.



Quite good render, but look at the wheels. They are too big :P

I see your point, although your image hosting site or image processing program makes it look like utter crap. It's very hazy and pixelated.

From the press release. Too lazy to check from Wikipedia how the Take-Two/2K Games ownerships have changed when Illusion Softworks was renamed but I assume the actual team is pretty much the same.

Hmm, I probably mixed another game or something. I knew something changed, thought at some time the game was dropped.

I've been waiting 5 years for this already, so one more year can be done.

I loved the first series, way better than GTA in many ways. I hope Mafia 2 can live up to the expectations, although it's no longer in hands of the same development team.

I knew when I was going to tell about it being broken down you would be the first to pop up and start talking trash about it.

Well, my car got towed the next day, got a replacement car (a shitty vauxhall), the next day I dropped off the replacement car, got picked up by a nice luxurious volvo to drop me off at my garage where my car was already fixed.

I don't even want to start about the stories I heard about VAG customer service

Don't know how many miles I did in my old car, I'm kinda sad I don't know, I really wonder about it.
In my new car I drove 204 kilometers on the first day I had it, then it broke down.
Now about half a year later I have about 10 500 kilometers on it, had no other problems with it.
