hehe, ive had a few acco's in karting.. ive been rear ended pretty hard by someone not payin full attn on the road and they killed me kart.. also ive bent the steering arm from cuttin a corner and had to pit (front left came barely off the ripple strip, bottomed out and when commin back onto the track is when it bent)
how does one go about gettin the surround sound happening? ive recently perchased a 5.1 surround sound unit and can only get the front L/R speakers working in LFS.. the other speakers work fine in other games..
with this, the prop shaft rotates 3.7 times if the final was set to 1.000, second would be 2.1 rotation to 1.000 and so forth.. but with this, the final is actually 4.488, the rear axle is turning 4.488 times to the single rotation to the prop shaft..
or thats what ive learnt from my experinces.. hope that helps with how the gears work in a car..
i know im doin a dbl post, but with the config, there are 2 diff ports in there.. the 63392 port for the game.. but wha does the 29999 port do (insim port)?
the server is a AMD 1700 @ 2600 speeds
1gig corsair ram
2x 160gig drives in RAID
TNT2 - runnin the nogfx line tho so that aint the prob
edit: after reading that some ppl have probs with a clocked CPU im thinkin that might be the prob.. ima try puttin it back to stock and see wha happens..
edit2: yeah seems good now.. musta been the CPU cycles puttin the server outta wack for LFS..
i DLed the LFS dedi for me game server and changed the setup options i needed to.. and ive changed the PPS from all the values from 3 to 6 but still warps every 2-3 seconds, tis kinda hard to drift when its like this..
i cant see a option in there for max rate or anything like that, so i got no idea whats causing this issue.. also tis the only server running on my game server at this point as all the other servers are closed down while im trying to work this out..
id like to see a track surrounded by forrests.. where on the other side of the barriers you cant see nothing but trees for miles..kinda a mix between Trail mountain and deep forrest from the GT series..
hehe, ive had the orig logi DF since GT3 came out.. still werkin fine..
my personal technique is lift off.. this is where during the corner, you lift off the accel to unsettle the rear, and when pushing back on the accel it initialtes the drift.. im still fairly new at it but im startin to get half decent throttle control after a week of on and off practice..
with Drift.. if you keep f*****g up, take a min to collect your thoughts before trying again.. sometimes i sit a few mins on the side of the track while havin a smoke or just drive slowlyand let me mind wander off driftin then i get back into it..
