the main reason i dont like GTR2 (the only other proper sim ive played) is when you do clutch kicks and other manuvours to force the ass end out, it just didnt respond as it would in real life..

edit: and yes i did turn off ALL the driving aides..

i used to drift with a DFP on 720 with no problems, ive seen Kamkor drift one handed @ 720 on a vid he posted on LFST ages ago..

setups from X or older versions dont work in Patch Y no more.. there are some apps out there that can convert from the old sets to the new ones..

and one day ill update me old XRT setup i had on setupfield..

ingame i use 40-50% and in the drivers 100%

try and get used to 720 as when ya do get more used to it, it is more fun..

to get any real heat into the clutch while drifting, i had to really thrash the clutch on the skidpan to get it above 1/4 heat.. if ya can do clean changes, ya wont notice much heat in the clutch while drifting i found..

problem with AI on FE Club

- AI after a single lap race all pit and crash into each other, half the field goes back onto the track and stall their engines.. tested with full grid and was able to reproduce multiple times

work on your lines and entrys into the corners..

just noticed with the test patch W10, that all the AI start moving at exactly the same time, when the AI are re-done, could be nice to have a random generator of when the AI starts to move, like have a variance of 0.1 to 0.3 seconds from a good to bad start for the AI

i find every so often i forget to select first gear with me shifter on the start line, is it possible to have a dialog come up saying

"wrong gear selected, please change to first gear"

would be muchly appricatied

yes Vista has many bugs in it.. but eventually it will be the best OS once all the bugs have been worked out.. XP didnt come good till SP2, DRM has a good possibility to stick around.. they will find more inefficient ways to implement this where it seems it aint around at all.

that is the main reason why im waitin a year or so like i did with XP before is started using it.. just remember XP used to be a shit OS due to its instability and shit security.. now its one of the better OS's out there

would be nice to have FFW, AWD and RWD options to set a specific option with the /cars= line within the server config.. it would be handy at times when trying to set specific cars with that setting instead of having to type /cars=UF1+UFR+XFG+XFR

in the few cars ive been in with Tiptronic, its always been forward for up gear and backwards for lower gear..

with the Shift + U camera angles, it would be nice for a option where you can setup a custom TV camera and have it follow the cars from a static position, and if tab is hit, if the next car could be in the same shot, have it pan smoothly to the next car..

this would be useful for some video creations and having LFS running somewhere being shown
