You are never too old and it's never too late. My dad is still studying at 61 (while working a high paying job full time no idea why he does it :tilt. I am 25 and only just finishing a degree that i started when i was 18 (keep giving up).
You will be surprised at how many people over 30 take up fulltime study.
Just make sure you enjoy what you study it makes it a billion times easier.
It is under development. Don't think you can buy a license until the next patch comes (or they update the website which i am assuming will come at the same time). New patch will contain a 500 2-Stroke (i think) and tools for importing tracks...list of other changes:
File -> save will save the current file under the name it was opened with or if you were creating a new file it actually opens the save as dialog as it has no idea what you want it called and where you want it saved.
Since you don't appear to have been asked for the filename/location then you must have been working on an existing file like a template or something.
There is no default folder for saves. Open all the files in the skin kit and you should find it there.
This is going to be one of those games that looks awesome and i will follow the progress for years with multiple delays only to be disappointed in the end.
With a PS3 controller you can only use the analog sticks as analog controls.
The buttons and the triggers are detected as digital by the PC.
At least this is the case with an official PS3 controller but i would imagine any other PS3 controller would be the same.
A 360 controller works but the unofficial ones are crap and i personally don't think a genuine one is worth it.
I race LFS with a ps3 controller using the analog sticks. It means that throttle and brake are on the same axis but it gives me more control than with a mouse.
*edit*
Actually with new drivers it may be possible but i have only read rumours havent found any yet.
