edit: before u come and say more shit, heres the reply of the video poster itself, from a dude who made the same question you did.

a) I've played GT4 with the DFP, as I own one. The flaws remain the same. In fact, nothing I demonstrated in the video relied on driving ability -- they were all very simple things that should have been easy to replicate regardless of the controller type.
b) Enthusia Professional Racing is also a PS2 game, yet it's far more realistic.
c) Did I say I wanted perfection? I just want a driving simulator that makes sense.

Only thing i can say is "NOTHING" ! There is nothing decent enough for a typical LFS player out there, after LFS, everything else turns into shit, yes LFS is that good, i wonder if it will take 20 years to another game with same physics quality show up on the market, i wonder, is it that hard to the huge rich companies to make something as good as these 3 LFS dudes did, or they just dont want to...

Good to know... the button is the 'booster' lol, the supra logo i added because i felt a little lack of details, and because the real wheel is used by Orido in his Supra...

I can do some variations, like, change the Orido to something more personal (like i did to myself), or just put a red stripe in middle, use stainless or polished metal instead of CF, i can even change the button to a pimped LCD boost gauge, etc.

I live very close to the beach, tsunami_style_half_kilometer_tall impossible waves was a regular nightmare a while after the Phuket event etc, on stormy nights, but thats not the worst, it also had a tornado in middle of it that sucked me from inside my own house, and after everything was vanished and the water dryed, there was zombie mayhem :S just a total mess armageddon mixed with super fast muscled (and smart!) zombies that pursuit me like if there was no tomorrow, that feeling of "you can run but you cant hide" while alone is awful, no door no nothing could stop them roflz but i like nightmares, its just like a new horror movie

The LOD levels cant be lowered as much as before either.

Patch X is heavyer, im sure since i have 3 LFS version here, i think its because the level of LOD! But the fps drop after updating to X is obvious for low spec computers, soo much that i cant play 'X' in my old computer, just 'U' or 'V' etc, and sir pls im talking about single player without Ai's.

The 8600 are not bad at all, and you will be able to run LFS on max easily, but you will suffer on high resolutions at heavy games, but if you dont mind playing the heavyest games out there on max details and filters, on very high resolutions, then the 8600 should be enough for a goood time, case you go 7xx series, soon when shader 4 and Dx10 games come out, you will not even be able to play! Also, the newer game wont have that much more texture and stuff to improve, the secret are the Shaders, and thats one of most strong point of 8 series cards, be sure.

Most people that is saying crap about the card are the ones that doesnt own one, it may be only 256mb 128bit buts its G84 new type of shaders and architecture and it is just if not faster than many 256bits cards (as soon drivers get good) i dont know and never saw someone that actually owns the 8600 and doesnt like it, includes myself, except for some dudes that expect it to be a 8800GTS...wich is not and was never supposed to, guess why its half the price :S , it also comes with extra usefull features like Quantum physics technology,

I think the reason why the hardware industrie are soo pumped these days is thanks to the games industries, and new windows vista wich is new standard and requires decent hardware...

By that list it looks like my 8600gt is not bad at all hehe, but is the x1900GT better than x1950GT ???

Postal is done but not released yet as far as i know, Far Cry is in pré production, now that's crazy, games industry have never being sooo HUGE, even cars propaganda are using something related do NFS lol, here in Brasil the new Chevrolet Vectra propaganda is based on NFS game, so does the New Fiat Palio*R

Hi, i did not read the entire topic but i have some points.

I don't know your taste, or what for (race, drift,drag,rally) you want a car to.

1. Price

2. Drivetrain layout (rwd-fwd-awd-mr-rr etc)

3. Weight distribution - size, and chassis type (coupe, cabrio, sedan etc)

4. Suspension type (if its rwd or mr the rear suspension must be independent,except if you go drag racing, wont matter much)

5. The year it was made and the brand (i love jdm's!,89" and up usually because older than that its usualy rust nightmare, you dont want that)

6. The styling of the body, imagine how could you look good with some body mods, paint job, etc)

If you like Datsuns, here goes some examples, but my favorite is the 240z.

dude i believe its a mix of both, gfx and cpu, but im quite sure that cpu can also limit FPS .. and you kidding me, 20 cars, here lfs would crash or lock with half of that.
