If you set the image quality to 'sharpen' in the display options, it reduces some of the pixelation caused by smoke/spray, but there is still some pixelation.

Im not really fussed about the amount of cars the game has, and quality isn't the biggest issue either. So long as a game is fun, then that is enough for me.

If GT5 is as fun as previous GT's, then I will be happy.

Rumour is that they guy (in the czech republic) stole the game from the bluray printing area. This makes sense because alot of bluray disks are printed in the Czech Republic.

Yea, I followed a car for a whole lap of Spa, right on its gearbox for 3 laps, and each lap the car I followed (Senna) was 3 seconds faster than me... so I should have been 9 seconds down, but in reality, I was right there.

I am, hoping that this just turns out to be a timing bug, but I don't know.

Rather than having a whole new AutoX track for dirt, how about just extending the current AX track (The 'hidden' go-kart track is pretty pointless) out to the left (of the start line), and then create an object which is a ramp made out of dirt, so that jumps can be made. The AutoX could then have 3 configurations. Tarmac AX, Dirt AX, Mixed AX.

The dirt ramps could also be used on tarmac, however it wouldn't look right until LFS has the ability to 'drag' particles of dirt onto the tarmac.

If you look at his LFSWorld, he has times on tracks which are not available to demo users, so, yes, it must be.

Quote from kimd41 :Interesting. It can be faked using the admin commands and having someone called Scawen. Can someone else confirm?
Another thing is that it's impossible to say "*name* has left the pits (VWS)" because the entry "VWS" is not in Z28. (or maybe it is, but it's hidden?)

Their profiles say that they entered a LFS server some months/years ago too.

EDIT: If they were using the 0.6A patch with the new physics, they couldn't join the server because they would get JOOS error and I really doubt they're testing the old physics.

So I'm calling fake unless proven otherwise.

Its fake... It would say "A new guest is connecting" between the "... connected" messages.

Quote :it is usually called a billion (although in many other languages and long scale usage, a billion means 1,000,000,000,000 - a million millions).

You are both right.

Then another one as we went downhill about to approach the slight incline over the bridge he slowed down so barely even made it onto the hill.

If im thinking of the same bridge (Pitmedden - Aberdeen Road?) I managed to get over it fine... Im a learner.

And before you ask why I was out driving in this... It was an emergency which meant that my dad couldn't drive, and my mum refused to drive.

Well, the neck is never going to go out of its normal range of movement with the HANS system anyway. A neck brace is an item he could use to make it easier to keep his head upright, and stop pain caused by the HANS digging into the shoulders by having a head leaning on it constantly, although obviously off the track he would be doing neck excersises.

It is claimed that it is all down to his neck. If his neck isn't 100% perfect, he probably won't want to race, anyway.

Quote from Intrepid :Why would a neck brace do anything? Jury is still out on the Leatt, but foam braces are NOT safety devices, far from it.

It would take some of the stress away from his neck muscles.

Quote from BlackWidow :Hello

So i have been building a Flight Simulator for quite some time and have always wanted to build a race car simpit too. I just found your AWESOME software. The downloads above I assume are the latest edition. I downloaded both the exe and the rar files but have been unable to install them (i do know they are both the same file just saved differntly) Anyway the install gets to 40% then it stops after about 40 sec it shows "Not Responding" What am i doing wrong.

Thanks for the help and for the software.

This is also happening with me. The installer sticks at 39%, and stops responding.

Quote from NightEye :Cars as lyt objects can have value for the 'driving lessons', as learning how to handbrake-park your car, etc.

Im learning to drive at the moment. I'll be sure to ask my instructor about that one.

However, Cars as layout objects. If it can be done in a way which doesn't use too much CPU, then it gets a +1 from me.

Shouldn't it be the same with the front lights if you press "g" for the flashing light? Shouldn't the front light even just get brighter?

No, because your options of light settings are; Full Beam, or Off, at least, this is what I understand.

For this to work, the '3' would need to be dipped beam.

It is when the car goes out of bounds, only in the TV camera.

I have tested it multiple times, and the game doesn't crash until I change to the TV camera.
