[TC] Dont run insim, and it just happened to us.

Username : evilpimp was on the servers at the time. He did it 2 times, both within 1 minute of connection.

I have a set of scripts that i am willing to share that allow use of clutch in road cars, and Auto-clutch when in Sequential / OW cars (noting that the XFR and UFR are set as road cars)

Place in /Data/Scripts

To change Throttle Cut/Throttle Blip Open the files "road" "paddle" or "Sequential" and change the values of "/gccut" or "/gcblip" from '0' to '1' Or vice versa.

lol, its pretty self explanitery. Its a Queue, when you are connecting, if someone else is already connecting. So a line of people waiting to get in. Im sure someone else will have a more complex post including the meanings of the words "connection" "queuing" and "system".

Check Firewall is not blocking LFS and that LFS has full internet access.

I am aware some people dont like it, and i do not have a problem with that. But in a way it prooves the versatility of the game. That people acctually want and enjoy just driving it, with, no real goal. And, its alot safer than going out on the street and driving at 120mph past your police station.

As much as i can see what you mean, i think its abit harsh.

A) Its free will,
B) Its TWO Servers out of the average of 70 at peak times (if you take the factor of test patches out.
C) How can you "Steal" people, if its their own free will to connect.

Well, This is what we were told when we ( [TC] ) had a fake server

The devs cannot do anything and it is a problem to sort between us and the people that host the server.

Which i suppose is fair, they cannot spend hours a day making sure that there is no fake servers. So, unless you have the name CLC Caribbean Cruise copyrighted, i dont think there is anything you can do.

i lost count when i started playing LFS

(14 at last check)

DFP doesnt have 3 pedals but it is more value for money imo.

I had a RGT FFb Pro clutch and it broke in 3 months, i have had my DFP for a while now and it feels just as good as it did new. The main problem withthe RGT it is the paddles are made out of plastic and after a while the spring that holds it into place becomes useless, and the plastic X shaped connector snaps.

It depends. It would really depend on the city of melbourne, and weather they want 800bhp Cars with no silencers or anything driving down their roads at 170mph at 2am. I for one wouldnt mind it, but i know that everyone else who lives in my village would shoot Someone. Annother option (which i am just adding on to the speculation about the people of monza wanting the cars to have silencers) would be to fit silencers to the cars. But then the chances are is that when the cars are coming down the pitlane, some careless pitwall person from a team**cough**Spyker**cough** will just step off the pitwall into an F1 travelling at (100km/h?). Not Nice [/speculation]

This is for sure. It isnt going to make much more of a difference to us watching the race, other than not having to get up at 3am to watch it. Because of the powerful night lighting they will have to run for safety reasons it will be hard to notice the difference.

To add to what tristian said. They probably use it to do things like

Race Legnths in extreme heats (to simulate fatigue caused by heat :P)
Testing New Steering wheel arrangments (i dunno)
Possibly the sequence of formation lap, Race Start, Safety Cars, and race restarts.

I dont know but they could probably use it for other things.

yep. although i dont think it would need to be a high priority thing, cos it means more work for elmo, and more work for the folk hosting the skins (there is about 40 skins)

there is an FIA rule for open wheelers about this, although its not exactly relevant here, it could be used for SIMFIA races, or whatever, but only for S3, after random failures have been added, if they do get added.

or word to that effect. so, +1 for me as a celebration / gesture to other drivers, and when failures are added then it can be used for that purpose.

It is probably one that scawen, or whoever took the screenshot made, thats if it was a dev that took the screenshot. Sueing them would just be a waste of time tbh. what would you get for a freeware texture. 5p?
