My first car was '88 Pug 205 1,9D. That's naturally aspirated 44kW of diesel 'power' for you . It was quite a good car to learn to drive, except for seizing front brakes and crappy rear suspension.
I was watching F1 race the other day and this thought crossed my mind: is it possible to change pit tactics mid-race in LFS? I mean, put on softer/harder tires, o add less fuel on second stop and etc.
Try downloading some replays from S2 hotlap chart on lfsworld.net Start with about 1:15.xx. Watch the replay closely, learn braking, turn-in points. In the beginning try not to use kerbs, as it's very frustrating to spin out when you're not used to them. As I can see from the replay, you're still not too comfortable with the car, so don't push yourself too hard for now.
I not quite new to LFS, but I started playing it more often only recently. I'm all about single-seaters, and "mad tyte" battles . Though my laptimes still suck, I enjoy this game very much.
I mostly hang out on demo servers with FBM. You can find me by the name y=x^2 Yep, it's a formula for parabola. I'm that nerdy
I wonder if there are some newbie tournaments or series suitable for me. Yesterday I achieved my PB of 1:14.98 FBM@BLGP
