Between these two, choose MOMO.
If you could spend a bit more, look at G25

That's my completely stock '94 Golf GT TDI
1,9 turbodiesel, 90hp, crapload of torque.
It even has Recaro seats :shhh:

Quote from runeman :Wouldn't it be easier to just take a simple test for a license?
Compose the test of certain skills and knowledge needed for racing?
If the test is failed then maybe take the driving lessons.

I never actually cared for the lessons, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't take a simple test to prove i'm worthy enough to race online. Why complete courses or lessons (whichever you prefer to call them)?

Surely, you can't actually think taking a test is a good idea also... I'm against the lessons and anything else that wastes my time.

geeman1, it's called perfecting the lessons... people just study and pass the tests and race the way they want or see fit. Doesn't do a single thing but waste perfectly good time.

You pay 30 euros for the game and have to pass some stupid test? Don't want to sound rude, but it's ridiculous. For demoers as well.

My first car was '88 Pug 205 1,9D. That's naturally aspirated 44kW of diesel 'power' for you . It was quite a good car to learn to drive, except for seizing front brakes and crappy rear suspension.

If we are talking about the sound of a one cylinder 4 stroke and 2 stroke, the latter wins hands down. C'mon, 4 stroke 1 cylinder sounds like farting

Quote from oli17 :i have a problem, i can't get force feedback in LFS. i've just started using my DFP, and i even tried setting the FFB to 200%, but still nothing. does anyone know where i'm going wrong?

ta, Oli

Maybe you're too strong.

Quote from Beldar :You laugh at our big engines with no power, we laugh at your little engines with no torque.

A crown vic in LFS would be awesome, Id play it alot more often. Would make it more interesting too. Id like to see if anyone outside America knows how to handle a 4000+ pound car.

In Europe we have nifty turbodiesels with a plenty of torque and only the fraction of fuel consumption of big V8's so... :P

Quote from MadCat360 :Yer, there needs to be a classic muscle car!

Not sure about Formula 3. Isn't that what the Formula V8 is already?

Formula V8 is supposed to be what Formula 3000 used to and what GP2 is now
Formula 3 is a bit slower than GP2 and, I think, faster than FOX.
Pit tactics

I was watching F1 race the other day and this thought crossed my mind: is it possible to change pit tactics mid-race in LFS? I mean, put on softer/harder tires, o add less fuel on second stop and etc.

Try downloading some replays from S2 hotlap chart on lfsworld.net Start with about 1:15.xx. Watch the replay closely, learn braking, turn-in points. In the beginning try not to use kerbs, as it's very frustrating to spin out when you're not used to them. As I can see from the replay, you're still not too comfortable with the car, so don't push yourself too hard for now.

Are you driving with a keyboard?

A bit offtopic, but I think LFS needs a turbo single-seater

Hello, fellow racers

I not quite new to LFS, but I started playing it more often only recently. I'm all about single-seaters, and "mad tyte" battles . Though my laptimes still suck, I enjoy this game very much.

I mostly hang out on demo servers with FBM. You can find me by the name y=x^2 Yep, it's a formula for parabola. I'm that nerdy

I wonder if there are some newbie tournaments or series suitable for me. Yesterday I achieved my PB of 1:14.98 FBM@BLGP
