Roads? who cares about roads... Track is where it's at!
and those times are old, I can't remember the last time I went around Tsukuba in the exige.. if my brother ever gets off ****ing fifa or gears of war i'll go on and beat my time.
and if you're wondering why the username is Ash Uk with a load of babble around it, well thats because i've got a brother who decided to choose the gamertag on live without telling me....... twat
So you know, he wrote the car off today at silverstone, steering failure and straight into the wall.
Chances are he will scrap the car and build an escort cosworth now
He's bought an 800hp Engine which has been rebuilt by Harvey Gibbs of SCS in Peterborough (who used to dyno my dad's engines) which is now fitted and running..
Did a 9.5 second 1/4mile at TOTb on the weekend which is mighty impressive considering it's main design is handling... had they allowed top speed runs (stopped due to bad weather) I'd have said it would have cracked 200mph+
It's first run out at Knockhill will be quite soon and hopefully if it's sunny (is it ever in Scotland?) then he will be aiming to get below the 50 second lap time.... iirc his current unofficial lap record around there in the focus is 50.02 and that was back when he only had 650hp
So you drive TKM and like pearl jam... can I have your babies?
This is a sad song, not something i'd listen to everyday (infact pretty much never) but it was used to good effect on The Royle Family where nanna dies
Completly off topic but... danthebangerboy I love your signature and avatar.. the guy was a living legend along with Henry Allingham & Bill stone... i'd have given up anything to have sat down and spoken to them.... guess non of us will have that chance!
Get an mi4!.. I drove one tonight and it is such an improvment over the 3.5..... when this league is over (or if I can find someone to buy my car and stuff) i'm buyin an mi4 myself... then i'm on the hunt for a schumacher team drive!
Getting an rc car round a track lap after lap consistently on the same line takes skill (not to mention a great irritation on the eyes). Tenth at the much more gp is good! Some good drivers in it! I did the first national at west london which just sucked, didn't get a run with out rain and by the time it dried up i'd failed to qualify anywher decent and ended up 2nd overall in the last but 1 final, lesson learn't for my next national.... Take gear to water proof the car!! lolthou
If you look closely at the shell it still has greigs name on it lol, he has given it to me as i've lent him pinions and a speed control for his pan car.
he is currently doing something very interesting for Andrew Robsons tc5 chassis which should hopefully improve it's lap times
http://www.brca.org/ Go to the clubs link at the top left of the page and find a club or clubs close to you, along with the odd bit of karting and our track days i've also been racing rc cars for the last 9 years, doing my first national this may (didn't go to plan at all lol) so if your interested let me know and i'll recommend you some good equipment and a good car.
