Goes to show, the G25 already is good enough, there isn't much to improve when it's already perfect. Apart from the Shifter, that is. Though, the shifter looks exactly the same aswell.
Yeah, that's why you shouldn't bother talking to him, and just ignore it. (No offense Shadowww)
As for me, i'm not a fan of anything, my way of thinking is: Buy whatever suits you.
I bought an nvidia card because that was the easiest way for me to go at the time, i would have to order the ATI card i was after, but i didn't have the patience.
Yeah i noticed it, the patch doesn't bring a difference.
Don't agree on the first part of your post though, a friend of mine has a legal copy of GTA IV.
He doesn't have any of these problems, the game looks beautiful on his screen.
Wonder if this is fixed in 1.04, because, apparently, i'm one of the few people who actually have this issue. I've seen plenty of movies where there clearly were smooth lines. Anyway, downloading now.
I'm not saying his mod sucks, i'm saying R-tractor sucks.
Out every single mod i've tried, besides maybe a few.. i never felt a connection to the car at all!
Well, not nearly as good as in LFS. The whole of the physics just feel wrong in Rfactor imho. So please don't take this personal Niels.
That's why i reacted like that, so IF he can get it to feel right, i'm mightly impressed.
But i think that's a little too complicated for you to comprehend, so i don't know why i'm bothering now.
Anyway, i'll stop now. Prolly will get a lot of flame because of this O/T, but i just wanted to point that out.
Auto on idle says the fan runs at 40%, while in-game i think it's at around 50-60%.
I can't really ever hear the fan on auto, while if i set on 70 or 80% manually, it sounds like a vacume. PLUS i don't have to do the effort to keep on manually changing it. That's why i think auto is better. I also think Auto-fan just likes to keep the card at around 80° at full load. Never goes over that temp.
The GTX 260 is made to run hot though.
@Bose, my GPU's clock drops to 300 when idle, so there could be some truth in shadow's post.
Alright thanks guys. Increasing the Fan speed is possible, but it's actually really loud. It sounds like a 747 starting up next to you when you put it up to 100%. Right now i'll just keep it at auto. Thanks for the info anyway, good to know that it isn't harmfull.
@ Shadowww: The nvidia control panel also has an option for adjusting fanspeeds, but i use the evga precision tool instead.
