Okay I'm a dumbass, hadn't played LFS in quite a while and thought it was the patch that changed that behavior, but I simply forgot I had switched it off before
How can I prevent LFS from going into window mode when connecting the the multiplayer lobby? My card doesn't like it when LFS does that, it switches off FSAA. Even if I alt + tab out it does it.
Not bad. Only a few impossible angles, but the ones you did were okay. Liked the in/on car cameras that lasted more than a few seconds. And overall it was pretty devoid of quick cuts which IMO is a hack when used alot (same with impossible camera angles). The framerate in some spots was very low though.
Thermal pads actualy work pretty decently and are almost completely idiot proof. Paste only works better when you get the application just right. Which can be a huge pain in the ass for a noob.
I can't say it was all that great, nice high res footage, but most of it is impossible flying camera footage which is pretty boring unless used specificaly for dramatic effect instead of just willy nilly.
Not neccessarily. If you have a SATA drive you should be able to record full size 1024 atleast with no problems, I've done it(I remember I could record at 30fps atleast, no problem). Before that I was playing around with 1280 at half size recording (640) and it chugged at less than 15 fps. It all depends on what the bottleneck on your system is, and at what fps you are recording at. I've got an Athlon XP 3000+, and was recording to a SATA drive.
Its because the demo is verys imilar to the game. If the crackers can see the game without the copy protection present, it gives them a big advantage in cracking the retail version when it is released (or even before its released). Copy protection isn't there to completely eleminate piracy, its main purpose is to stall crackers so it isn't cracked in the games primetime immediatly after release.
The color of the lines that represent the tread of the virtual tire indicates the tempurature of that section of tread. The thickness of those same lines indicates the wear.
The thing is, all these pretty pictures do not tell you how much air pressure the tires have, how fast the car is going, how many G's it is pulling, and etc. There just isn't enough information in them to say one way or the other.
Yeah Firefox causes lots of stutter problems in games for me. Mainly because I have all sorts of extensions that run at periodic intervals, like forcastfox or page update checker.
Ugh, thats kind of annoying, a password i've never used before. I usualy make a new one after a patch because there is no way to retreive the game password :\ I dunno why i changed it from my first password that I could always remember...
Giving that a try...
EDIT: yup that worked! Thanks Now to rememeber this new password.
I first tried to unlock after installing the patch,a nd I wasn't sure if I remembered my password correctly, it kept telling my the gamepassword didn't match. So I went to the website and now I STILL can't unlock, it is still telling me the game password does not match. But I know I am definitely entering the correct password
Ugh, I can't unlock. It keeps saying game password does not match. But i've gone and set a new gamepassword so I KNOW i'm entering the right one, but it still denies me. What the heck?
Also, the wheel would be spinning. Though, I beleive the spinning would cause downforce IF it was suspended in air (like throwing a baseball that sinks downward faster than expected). How the ground affects that I don't know.
