1. Better AIs (spatial awareness, speed, overtaking)
2. Better AIs could influence the ability to add race control things, such as proper strategies against AI and safety cars and so on.
3. better map editing (objects such as trees, spectators, emergency vehicles, curbs) different terrains, instead of having to place down literal blocks of concrete, it could be a paint brush on surface (with strength and size), larger object limit, buildings (such as houses used outside map or pitlane)).
4. as previously said, gear shift animations.
5. Better damage model (nothing crazy, just the ability to detach front and rear wing, wheels, bumpers).
6. Weather (rain and damp mud and race tracks).

Remember, this is not criticising, this is my favourite sim of all time and just giving some long term improvement suggestions.
actually i've tried that, and that seems to cause more issues, because the faster AI will sit behind the slower AI, causing a massive train, and in the braking zones the slower AI brakes before. Because they lack spatial awareness, the faster AI will run right into them.
if you are looking for news on these new tracks, go on 20th anniversary announcement. However referring back to map editing, maybe with the track editor in a couple of years there might be the possibility to create real life tracks, but without license like skin making. Real life licensed tracks are unlikely to be announced by the devs judging by how long it took to get one licensed track and how there aren't any further notices on the subject, that said it would be great to have them.
I know we already have Traction control in the game, but is it possible to have Traction Control in all cars for mouse users?
For the racing leagues that don't use it, there could be a ban function.
I would also like to mention that the author of the mod I was trying to edit, which is the Altus69B had given me permission to edit the mod myself as I had requested Traction Control for the Public mod.
I know that the authors may not like mod editing, which is why I prefer to use them for singleplayer. I appreciate their mods which is why I would need TC for f1 mods
so, I'm currently using mouse on live for speed, and I learned that I can copy mod folders into LFS editor and edit them. However once I'm done adding things such as traction control and less powerful engines (I usually don't overdo the editing, such as models) I click "test mod in lfs) and it comes up with: "The default skins were not found, png textures were not found, this mod is not ready for testing"
I've already pasted every skin and dds file into the designated data folder of lfs editor, but it won't work. How do I fix this?
I didn't find any forums related to the subject and cars, but would it be possible to create: Mercedes F1 W07, Lotus E20, Brawn, BGP 001, SF71-H, Williams FW14B, Williams FW19, McLaren MP4/13
Please note that I am not requesting for all these mods to be made (but I would love if they were), I would just love to have one of these cars to be made. If only one or two mods are made, different skins would also be appreciated
