Very very late, that's 01:00 here, and I have work tomorrow.

And on top of that, I won't be able to take part in practice races from 10th to 13th June, so I am worried I don't get enough laps...

That's all I am missing, I think? Because I can drive...

LOL.

Fails at driving a car one-handed, but who would drive it with one hand anyway?

Keep your hands on the wheel and the brain in your head!

Quote from Mysho :I must admit that this was +/- first Sunday I saw both full lenght races and I really don't have much time to study new qual system... Would someone be nice enough to write it here in short? Because I really didn't get Bennani @ 1st place in second race for example. Thought it's still the usual, first 8 drivers from race 1 switch their positions, but obviously it isn't.

I don't know how, but it seems like there is a 2nd qualy for race 2. I haven't checked, too lazy.

People should stop crashing Menu off. First Muller, now Coronel. Bloody hell, watch where you're going.

As I can't make it now thanks to one vote, you can give Seb the 66.

Quote from Flame CZE :Wankel was the one who was concerned in the engine development.

..and Wankel was a German on top of that too?

But a different engine wouldn't hurt to be in LFS. I drove Star Mazdas in iR, they sounded quite nice, I didn't even know they had Rotary engines before.

Btw: I just noticed a certain someone called "Christian Horner" driving in 1998 in F3000

There's Fabrice Walfisch, Tomas Enge, Mazzacane, Junqueira, Minassian, Ayari and Sarrazin(Mr Spin).

Ahhh, Gonzalo Rodriguez

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :This is right, apologises. Montoya then moved to CART in 1999.

"Easily", hmm, really? Montoya had a 3 points advantage coming to the last round.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1 ... ional_Formula_3000_season

Yeah, but as I said: Not starting from pole is totally different(I think he really started last), right?

I think I still remember flashes of Montoya's black Supernova going through the last chicane... I was about 9 when I watched that last race, disappointed Heidfeld didn't win, but even more he did the season after.

Hell, he even won at Macau in F3 before

Me too, because Kimi's cold as an iceberg and Nick's your friendly guy from the neighbourhood

Oh, and btw: Montoya won F3000 in '98, Nick in '99(Nick could have won '98 rather easily, but his pole at the Nürburgring was taken away from him thanks to West making a mistake.

Quote from aroX123 :
Renault say they can fight for the win this weekend. IMO they cant, Petrov might get a possible 4th place but nothing more than that.

LOL rather Heidfeld, Petrov just went backwards last race.

Quote from dekojester :I should be able to get protest replies / results up tonight, and maybe points assuming I don't crash. I ended up having to fill in at my other job so two jobs again today which messed up my initial plan to get most of it done last night. JFYI :P

Those two jobs, is that also the reason we're still having no official results of the Kyoto 250?

Hey, be careful you don't overwork yourself, aye?

God, I remember this race now, only not racing because I chatted about TS as I didn't know the address... *sadface*

Quote from Mustafur :I remember heidfeld was part of the mclaren drivers program before he joined suaber in 2001 he out scored kimi yet kimi who had ties with ferrari got the seat.

Now considering kobayashi is the better one and has no ties to Ferrari hopefully same applies lol.

Please, don't make me remember it! Nick not getting that seat, argh...

Wut? What's that Team "Super-Saber" I never heard of lol?

Better luck next time, disconnections/timeouts sucks bigtime.

You can say that loud.

Is my connection still too bad for 30 starters like this? It worked well last race...

Quote from Eclipsed :I took the colour sample from this one: http://helmetsnl.webs.com/Clay%20Regazzoni%201977.jpg because it was the clearest picture, but also even in it there are a lots of shades of red, that's why it's always so confusing to pick tight tone... Ok,tomorrow I'll try do something.

Yeah, that's okay, one of the best pics

Thanks!

I was looking at the '79 helmet, just the angles are hard to see all details...

Visor isn't that much of a problem, I think?

And the base red isn't that far off either I believe? You can tweak if you think it needs it.

Btw: Isn't there a way to get the colour from a picture? Doesn't it work to use the "colour-copy" in GIMP to get the right colour, or at least as close as possible?
