No races this weekend. Unfortunately, those DDoS attacks pretty much rendered organizing these races this weekend pretty much impossible Frown

Quote from chucknorris :Sorry for the mood killer but the replay function seems broken.
I've played on a R & R8 server. Both replays won't start with a "Corrupted file" message.

Same thing happens to me, also on some replays, it displays message "Could not read texture [Texture name] - File not found" on chat as well.

After having couple races held earlier with race type, where every driver must drive from point A to point B as fast as possible, I decided to make a series based on this race type. After having a controversy results during Tournament-series which was first series in 2017, I decided to give everyone another chance by making Drag-series where every race is Drag-based event. Races were held Friday, Saturday and Sunday for first two weeks.

Series was originally going to last 9 races, but due to week 3 events being cancelled for updating server and Airio as well as making tests for streaming, series only lasted 6 races and 2 weeks. Three last races were never driven.

Schedule:

2018 - List of Series
tankslacno

Here you can see the list of series held in 2018.

You can also find current series on server by typing command !leagues - you can also display these series to another driver on server by putting driver's name as a parameter after that command. I'm aware of bug which results last line/button of that command still being displayed after 15 seconds, which is a time when all those lines/buttons should be removed from screen. For workaround at the moment, typing another command should fix that.

Series are not listed alphabetically, instead they are sorted by their start date.

Current series:
- SRT-Endurance: 4th season - January 28 - December 9: 257/316 (18,67%) days remaining
- Oval League - February 17 - June 30: 95/134 (29,10%) days remaining

Upcoming/Future series:
- FWD-series - March 30 - May 6: 40/38 (00,00%) days remaining

Past series:
- Drag-series - January 5 - January 21: 0/17 (100,00%) days remaining: https://www.lfs.net/forum/post/1935195#post1935195

Additional information:
Mandatory pit stops: 0
75% limit: (minimum lap amount to get classified): 75% lap amount of each class winner's lap amount which will be known when race ends. 255 laps for sure is 75% of 340 laps.
Wind speed: 30-39km/h

Race type: Race has many special regulations. First of all, only AI-drivers are allowed to participate. Secondly, server will be protected with password for whole event. Also, for all drivers, one AI-driver has to use FXO GTR (FXR), another must use XR GTR (XRR) and third one must use FZ50 GTR (FZR) during event. And finally, one AI must participate in GTR-class, another in GT2-class and third one in GT3-class. All this is possible because maximum amount of AI-drivers per guest on server is 3.

This race will be streamed on Twitch. Stream begins during Warm-Up and ends after race. https://www.twitch.tv/srtfinland

Minimum license: S3

Schedule (all times are in UTC+3):

- 14:40: Server will be password protected

- 14:45: Qualifying begins and lasts 120 minutes. It is divided into 3 parts. For first part, only GTR-class drivers are allowed to drive, for second part, only GT2-class drivers are allowed to drive and for final part, only GT3-class drivers are allowed to drive. However, each AI-driver may only drive one stint during qualifying, and by meaning stint, it's just one outlap and two hotlaps. This means that the next AI-driver may join as soon as the one driving on track begins lap 4.

Driving order will be determined by points scored from 2nd race. This means that user, whose AI-driver in that class which will be now driven, has most points must drive first, then that one, who has second most points etc. After all drivers from specific class have been driven, we will switch to the next class.

Driving order can be found here: http://srt-endu.eu/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/ModernTeams_AfterRound1.png

AI-drivers from each class who gets a pole position earns 4 points.

- 16:45: Qualifying ends and Warm-up/Briefing begins. During this session, make sure that you have your AI's on track and they're using right setups and have right amount of restrictions. At this moment, SRT's stream goes live on https://www.twitch.tv/srtfinland

- 17:00: Warm-Up/Briefing ends and Race begins. Race lasts 340 laps / 500 kilometers. If you want your AI-driver to make pitstop on certain lap, do this:
- If you're admin: Assign a Stop 'n' Go-penalty for that AI-driver by command /p_sg [AI-driver's name] before it starts it's last sector of the lap. During last sector, before (s)he goes into pitlane, clear that penalty by command /p_clear [AI-driver's name].

- If you're guest: Ask me to give a penalty for your AI-driver as assigning penalties even for own AI-drivers is only possible for admins. Please inform me, that which AI-driver you want to go into pitlane and on which lap.

There is also possibility to give Drive-Through-penalty for your own AI-driver, if you have a faster AI-driver behind him/her. If you want your AI-driver to go into pitlane, but not for pitstop, you need to do pretty much the same thing that you do, when you want your AI-driver to make a pitstop on certain lap via Stop 'n' Go-penalty. There are two differences though:
1) You don't need to remove/clear that penalty on last sector (clearing that penalty - as long as that AI-driver is on it's last sector of the lap - does not make any harm though)
2) If you're admin: you need to type /p_dt [AI-driver's name] to assign Drive-Through-penalty instead of typing /p_sg [AI-driver's name].

But, as a new rule for this season, if you assign your driver a penalty after pitlane has been closed due to conditions, that driver will get either Drive-Through- (if there's yellow flag on track) or Stop 'n' Go-penalty (if there's red flag on track) for entering pitlane when pitlane is closed.

Due to this track being oval, car reset is allowed at all times. However, rejoining via spectators/pitlane is allowed until race leader begins lap 86. After that, it's not allowed to rejoin via spectators/pitlane.

- 21:30 (approx.): Race ends. Drivers from each class who gets fastest lap and drives at least 70% of the class winner's lap amount will get four points. Also, drivers from each class who have highest speed velocity get four points.

Mandatory pit stops: 1
80% limit: (minimum lap amount to get classified): 80% lap amount of winner's lap amount.

This race will be streamed on Twitch. Stream begins during Warm-Up and ends after race. https://www.twitch.tv/srtfinland

More information of mandatory pit stops:
That mandatory pit stop amount is actually total required pit stop amount in whole event. This means, that every driver may choose freely that in which race he/she will do that pit stop. Therefore, you don't have to do pit stop in every race, just making one pit stop in one of these three races is enough!

More information of 80% limit:
Please note that 80% limit is actually average amount of these three races. Which means that if you drive first two races completely, but only drive 40% of the last race, you have still driven 80% of the race. You have also driven 80%, if you drive 70% of first race, 80% of second and 90% of final.

It doesn't matter how you drive that 80% amount averagely, as long as you drive at least 80% of these three races on average, you are classified.

Races:
In this event, there are three races. Start order for each race is different. For first race, start order is determined by qualifying results. For second race, start order is reversed from first race results and for final race, start order is random.

Each race is equally long. Between each race, there is 5 minute break. Event winner is overall winner of these three races. Winner gets to choose, what kind of LX6 will be used in next Oval League race, which is held next Saturday. There are two different LX6's to choose from:
- LX6
- LJ6 (LX6 + 35% intake restriction + 25kg added mass)

Race itself is normal, except for one thing:

This race/event is 550th race/event held on SRT's server! For this reason, there will be three bonuses (which each are worth 2 points) given at the end of this race. These drivers will be awarded:

- Longest total length spend on pit stops (to be eligible, you must have done minimum of 2 stops)
- Driver, whose best lap is closest when comparing to that driver's best possible lap

It's possible to have a tie between two or more drivers on these bonuses (especially on the last one). If that happens, both/every driver will be awarded so there will be no tiebreaker.

I'm using my own league as an example. https://www.lfs.net/leagues/412-Sport-Racing-Team-Finland

If there is a case, where multiple seasons are running at the moment, only one of them is shown at the Current Season-section; the other ones are shown at the Past, Present and Upcoming Seasons-section. I've attached screenshot of this.

Another thing, not a bug, but more like a request: one of my league's season (https://www.lfs.net/leagues/412/season/535) has races, but for each race, length is 0 laps at the moment. Why? Because at the moment, it's not possible to use minutes as a race length when adding/editing rounds for season. So, could it be possible to add minutes as a option for race length?
