i agree, thought i feel that tuning is not about gains in power or shortening you're 0-60 ( or whatever most dream about ) its more about getting a reliable well rounded machine that performs veyr well for its specs.
Ive had similar lads trying to sell me their parts/data and im not interested, considering an average car i see gets mapped twice at the last by one owner that alone kills the sale in the water but then they go on to say how they have a b16a making 300+ n/a... i ask to see it and get some advice, after an hour or so of " no i can't, but ill lecture you anyways " they politely feck off, leaving me to sit back a well, just text their details to everyone in the trade letting them know theirs another Ed china in town.
indeed i feel this too, with dfgt, heck even with controller i play with +7 sensitivity and in all aspects of racing, its nice to have a progressive roll out of the corner now rather then a somewhat jerky Tear from one side to the other of the apex ( upon entry or exit )
just get rid of you're xbox and still with pc, Seriously, i only play gt5 as i love its japanese arcade appeal.... other then that, its just not worth it man.
im sure development is done where possible, but frankly doing things right at a snails pace is better then rushing to produce an arcade/generic racer ( not that lfs is breaking the mold, but trying to set standards rather )
i'd say the same but their isn't enough paddys gaming, the ones i do bump into are geenral sound and don't fall for the brits being cnuts to everyone, x10 times more so when they see an irish tag.
Personally i wouldn't of put the spanish or scots up so high but thats just me.
I always thought a 3 rotor conversion for the 3 would be fun, namely a light tuned lump would give most honda's a go for their money. If he states that its in the 12k ballpark to safely turbo, wouldn't it just be best to swap in a totally new lump ?
And yes, i know the work required, Is the end result not worth it ?
I drift cars the odd time but its normally a pre crushing ritual with my welding skillz + a lack of luster for most cheap bmw/mercs outside of the pre w124/e34 era...
