Well, I think that depends a bit on where the last car is at that point. It's a bit nasty to give a green flag while the last rows are still in the chicane.
Start procedure:
The race start will be on the back stretch, after a full safety car lap. The safety car will pull off on the outside of turn 1, and the leader will control the field from that point until the green flag. The same will apply in case of a server crash.
I think we started the 24hours in time, so the whole thing shouldn't be an issue anymore, as we also introduce a "be on the server at least 10 mins before the start, or you loose your position" rule. Personally I don't think we need another app than can go wrong
Name just one game you guys have played as long as LFS before getting bored to death with it.
Do you really think that a new car or track will change anything for more than a month before becomming bored again?
Seriously, I doubt it. Sure, LFS development speed is slow compared to other games, and sure, the grass is always greener on the other side. But I get the feeling that all this talk about the "death" of LFS comes from people bored from a game they played longer than anything else and desperatly trying to get the feeling back of what LFS was once for them (if that makes any sense to you).
I can't believe it, but somehow they managed to do a proper cut (which heroes is still failing to do) and suddenly make good and fun to watch episodes! Big quality boost on from epsiode 13 onwards. It feels a lot more like the original series now.
OK, as the quality of the stuff I received was good in only a very few cases. I made a small document that will hopefully make it easier for you and the poor people having to sort all the informations...
If you can think of anything that is missing, feel free to mention it.
Also, please don't pm me the stuff, please use the email: three_jump at mastersofendurance dot eu as I check that more often than the PM box.
And please stick to the .doc format if possible (or .pdf)
It would be also nice to get these informations (if updated) not just on the day of the event, at least 3 days would be very helpful.
