Few months ago i had to make a presentation too. I wasn't happy with any of the default Powerpoint 2003 styles, so i made my own. They're in the attachment if you want to try them.
The first one has a bright background, which may not be well visible if the projectors image quality isn't good enough (as in my case) - background on projector screen was too bright, almost completely white. That's why i made another one with dark blue background. That one worked well for me. In the first presentation i used Calibri font, which IMO looks great, but it unfortunately only comes with Office 2007 and Vista, so computers with older office won't display it. In the second presentation i used Tw Cent font, which is not that nice, but still looks better than majority and is completely Windows-compatible.
Oh and nevermind the text in the slides. I just shortened my original presentation which was in Slovene language.

I agree, MMS support is quite bad. SwirlyMMS solves some of the problem, but you still need an additional app just to explore the folder where images are downloaded to.
Otherwise, i am very pleased with the iphone usability. There are lots of people saying that it's not worth the money and that they can get a device with better specs for less money, but in my opinion the main thing about the iphone and Mac computers in general are not just tech specs but the user experience. I've had a chance to play with quite a few gadgets with both Windows mobile and Symbian, but to me their user interface (design, menu structure, smoothness...) didn't come close to the iphone.

Actually they do. The higher resolution in dpi (dots per inch) you have, more pixels you'll need for the same image size in inches/cm. Most common resolutions are 72 dpi for computer graphics and 300 dpi for print (magazines etc.). Try creating 10x10cm image at 72 dpi or 300 dpi, you'll see the difference.
lizard: Unfortunately there is no method for enlarging raster images with good results that i would know. There's a possibility to enlarge image and use smart sharpening, but the results are usually still quite crappy. Maybe you should call the CSI Lab, they can do everything
