I don't know what happened in the first turn, seemed like somebody divebombed me and Jonaitis and knocked us off track. Luckily both of us recovered quickly, though.
It has been an absolute pleasure to take part in the Tiger Express Motorsports Z30 Racing Festival.
Was great fun to try some managed and serious racing on some new layouts. Excellent administration by Yann and a big thanks to Phil for designing the new layouts.
Wasn't too sure on some of the combinations, but I always ended up being pleasantly surprised. Had great fun in every round, even though my results weren't fantastic. I already knew from the beginning, that I wouldn't have a chance to compete with the top part of the field. Considering that, I'm quite pleased with my overall result, even though round 4 obviously (Vettel style) didn't go as planned.
Once again, thanks to Yann for organizing this series of great races. If a new season starts, I'll definitely be here again.
And congratulations to Joe and the rest of the ineX members - impressive performance!
Great race once again! I agree with Phil, it was a quite intense combination, especially with this many cars on track. But oh man, I hate that chicane, just couldn't get it right... I must have hit the grass on like 80% of the laps. :geezer:
But good fun, will definetely be there next time.
Oh, that was you... I wondered where the hell you went. I didn't notice the text saying that you timed out, while I was struggling to keep the damn car on the road and not lose positions, lol.
Better luck next time, disconnections/timeouts sucks bigtime.
As it seems nobody has a clue how many of the signed up teams will be attending the races, I would suggest that you create a thread on the international forum, where people can sign up for each individual round. Just like they do in GTAL and all the other bigger leagues.
We are almost halfway through the league, and we haven't seen around 30% of the teams that has signed up. Most of them haven't even posted on the forum or ever been on your server. Maybe it's time to clean up the field a bit and find out who's really interested in participating and who's not.
And if Last Lap Motorsports are planning to participate, I think you should divide their drivers into atleast two cars. It makes no sense to have eight drivers in one car.
If it turns out that there's only maybe 12-14 cars left, you could consider using shorter tracks for the upcoming rounds. AS5R and KY3 aren't much fun with such few cars. And KY1 never made sense in the first place.
