From my point of view as a dodger, they all looked rather lairy tbh. Race 1 from the back of the pack looked like I'd get away with it, but lag took over and I found what was a lovely space turn first into Nolan's lag bar, followed by Nolan himself milliseconds later. Don't know how I survived that!
I'm not going to change the schedule to fit in with the LFSES, as there are something like 3 or 4 people out of more than 64 people racing in it. It's an unneeded hassle, and not worth the work really. Rearranging of the DoP clashing round will be difficult, but I'll just have to try and slot it in.
I am still considering whether to change dates on the LFSES. If you could supply me with a driver list for that series, Yann, it would greatly speed up the process as all the forums are in French.
With Rudy being the 32nd sign-up, all subsequent sign-ups will be placed in the reserve list in first come first served order. It's great to see the 32 in both series in such a short space of time!
Don't count on it being unlikely. Last years racers no doubt remember the lowish grids by the middle of the season, even with something like........50 sign ups we never broke 25 cars on track. Trust me, you'll almost definetly drive.
The Road Sport Cup will almost definetly NOT be broadcasted. I think the fact that we will only have between 1 and 3 (if Boothy comes and gives us a helping hand) admins on the Thursday, tied in with the fact it's running on a Thursday. I don't know how successful a Thursday stream would be, but I doubt it would be worth the extra hassle.
With the TBO Challenge, I will open a poll today asking if folks would actually like a 'cast. I know with the Saturday timeslot we have enough people to make it work, it's if people actually want a stream. I know that, as last season, there will be fantastic racing on show, but if no-one wants to watch it, then what's the point? If there is a broadcast, I will try my best to get a recap video from the RSC race in the days previous. But yes, it's up to you if we have one or not.
I think my only claim to fame on this forum (other than my epic fails) is my rather strong Mackem/Pitmatic accent. I've lived in Peterlee for all of my 17 years, so that explains the pitmatic (even though that's dying a slow death) and I've gone to school in Sunderland for many years, giving me the Mackem.
Every time I go anywhere more than.........80 miles south, nobody can understand a word I say. Last time I was in Birmingham I had to say my KFC order 6 times. 6 times! It gets rather annoying to be honest.
You say it's pretty full, but over a season you will get a rather large drop out rate. I personally don't believe another race is needed, as last season with the amount of sign ups we had, we never had a grid over around 20 cars. Trust me, most will drive almost every round if we have say.............45 sign ups.
If there is enough demand for it, perhaps next season.
We now have 32 Sign-ups and will move to the reserve list. Please do not be put off signing up because of this, as there is still a very high chance of racing in the events due to prior engagements, problems and drop outs experienced by other competitors.
