Hi Stig209!

I've made a skin - like on the pictures that U linked before - it is not 100% perfect, but I had work with it.

Hope U enjoy.

I've got a question:
How do You render the skins? Are You using CMX Viewer, or just bend the skin to a real car, overlay the original bodywork? Or everyone uses 3d programs to render the skins?
Thx for the answer.

Quote from MirageJ :Fantastic work Victor, really loving this program.

One question though, is it possible to switch between active cameras while recording?

At the moment, I've been recording and exporting (into AE) up to the point of a camera change, and then changing the camera, and recording that section, then exporting it etc.

Just wondering whether you can "animate" the change of active camera from within LFS Record.

Once again, an excellent program with tonnes of potential

Josh.

+1

Btw. awesome program, thx Victor!

Quote from CH33TAH :Dear users of LFS,

I have recently upgraded my system to Windows 7. Some time ago I purchased an Act Labs Force RS Wheel, shifter and pedal system, investing in one of the greatest wheels known to my world of video games.

In an attempt to find drivers for the Force RS, I have noticed that Act Labs no longer supports this product, lacking any driver support for Windows 7. I was wondering if anyone had any experience attempting to use the Force RS wheel with Windows 7.

Currently, both the pedals and the shifter work flawlessly. The old Act Labs drivers for XP appear to install on Windows 7, however, the Force RS will not show under the 'Game Devices' panel.

Any thoughts on how to revive this awesome gaming system?

Maybe there is solution http://www.zagerdesign.com/racing_sims/act_labs.htm

Quote from slidejob :I've been doing some research into getting the ACT LABS Force RS steering wheel to work with Windows 7 and Vista. It's weird, when you connect it, it installs the driver, and then you can see an icon for it in 'Devices and Printers' under Control Panel, but when you right click on it and go to 'Game Controller Settings', nothing shows up in that box. Hence you can't test it or use it in a game.

I'm trying to get the wheel to work in rFactor, but it does nothing, no response at all in rFactor's controller config. I've heard of the wheel working in GPL but supposedly that game has it's own controller driver code.

BUT, I saw a link from an ebay auction talking about some HACKED (custom) drivers for this wheel. Unfortunately the link was to RaceSimCentral.com forums, which have crashed.. Does ANYONE have any information about these hacked drivers or info about using the Force RS wheel on Windows 7 or Vista in general? This is such a great wheel, mine is about 10 years old and still working great. I've done minor maintenance, but this wheel is easy to work on. It's just a shame that something stupid like no new OS driver support would kill it (when so many other BIG BUSINESS companies would continue support but their product is such junk that it falls apart first).

If anyone knows anything about these supposed HACKED (custom / beta) drivers for this wheel, or any info on installing it on Windows 7 or Vista, your input would be greatly appreciated! Or as a last resort, any info on creating custom drivers for Windows 7/Vista would be great. Thank you.

Maybe there is solutionBig grin http://www.zagerdesign.com/racing_sims/act_labs.htm man, I didn't see the Swedish guy's comment, damn!

For me it's a good idea, 'cause this wheel is f***in' cheap (10€). So will The FFb and the pedal seperation be workin' completely on win98?

Hello Trebuh!
Has your new soundcard's gameport solved the problem?
PLZ HELP:
I wanna buy an as above mentioned Microsoft Sidewinder FFB GAMEPORT wheel, and I would use it on win 98 if:
-The LFS will work PERFECTLY on that O.S.
-The Wheel will work perfectly (normal ffb, so separating the pedals is doable, I can use the buttons...)
-The LFS upgrades and etc. will be working on win 98

??? Is that TRUE ??? or on 98! with the ms sw FFB old driver won't be working perfectly? PLZ HELP, email me or just share your answers in this topic
