Ahhh we're not all just drifters. The majority of us race too...And when I say "race" I mean alot of wrs have been held by members of LFS-T.


But yeah, I'm not gonna argue. The majority of the community there drifts.

Well, for starters unplug your cable modem (the power cord) and then unplug the ethernet to your computer...Make sure the router is off, then plug an ethernet wire from your modem into the router's internet port, then plug another ethernet cord from port 1 of the router to your computer's NIC...

Then powerup the modem by plugging in the power cable, then once that's booted up, plug in the router.

I know that's a bit "Easy and obvious" but usually that would do the trick...

If you can connect to the LAN perfectly fine, then make sure your default gateway is 192.168.1.1 (Or the IP address of the router if you have it configured differently)

You can do that through control panel/network settings/right click on local area network/properties/ TCP IP protocol/properties and then put it in through there.

If you haven't read the main site, it will be back in "A few short days", so sit tight and make sure to thank the admins for helping get the server back

I think one of the acronyms when I first created the team over a year ago was ASS...another was ATT, I think it took Sil and I over 50 attempts to find a good name till we settled on this one. And no, not all of them started with Apex.

Well considering I have a game running, aim, musicmatch, and firefox running I have 33 processes. Then my DFP driver is running, and windowsblinds is running, motherboard manager

I think windows uses from 25-27 processes default.
Press Ctrl+alt+delete and sort by "mem usage" to check which is raping your computer, no windows process except explorer.exe (Desktop+start menu) and svchost.exe should take more then 10 000K IMO
if you sort by CPU, that's what your computer is current processing. I have a game running alternating from 6-15 and firefox 0-6 depending on if I'm typing or not. Musicmatch is using 0 and it just switched songs, but every now and then hits 2, so basically just look around. Kill a windows process and your computer will either go into emergency shutdown (Timer of doom) or it will just not let you kill it.
