Maybe try turning up your Anti Aliasing, or w.e its called in LFS graphic options to stop the jagged edges of the objects/cars. Make it look smooth, not too much going on. Just nice and simple.

Full lock = Wheel turned complete in one direction, that it will not turn any more, and hold it there.

And its actually easy to hold a very nice angle with very hot tyres (considering people that can drift, drift untill the tyres pop at 200 degree's). All you need to do is be gentle with the throttle.

What you may not take in to consideration is that many of the people here use steam for so many other games. Really, its not weather we use steam or not, its about the people outside of LFS that do (fresh faces).

So, it does seem that you have been "inspired" atleast, by [TC] in some ways more than others, not saying you have copied anything. Try to bring some originality in to the community, as there are far to many cruise servers around to fill with players.

To beaver, dude, talk about digging yourself a hole! Your always taking a dig or two at other cruise servers. It comes across, that you think you and WKD are superior to all others, but not at all. One word of advice, that 95% of the community would also like to give, is just be quiet when it comes to slating others, its not a good image for you.

Yes, your right in saying its about perfection, but the money side is also a huge factor. The reason being that without money, the future doesnt hold much for LFS anymore because, there will be no funds for hosting, hardware and software. Without money, there is no motivation. Without perfection there is no real player base (we are at the lowest point when you consider players).

All in all, there is not much hope for the sim if we dont act now. Of course the dev's will have to give a percentage to steam when purchases are made, but you will find that its worth it in the long run because it will bring more money than just trying to sell it alone.

Im going to back LFS untill the end, no matter what happens, but it would be a bright idea if LFS was assisted in some way or another.

I do agree also, to some extent. The point im trying to get across is, if we have some more advertisement, there is bound to be many more license purchases, which obviously, pumps money in the dev's bank accounts. In theory, this may give them some motivation, something like "Hey Bob, Check it out, much more people are interested in the sim, how about we put some more time and effort in to this to create more purchases in the future".. if you get what im blabbin on about.

I just think, the more places LFS is advertised, the more people will buy it, the more drivers we have, the more fun that we will get from fuller servers. Not to forget the more people to hang around the forum and making it active and exciting again.

Please, this one time, stick at it! or maybe if there will be a next one, if you decide to bring this one down.. there is one big pointer i will give to you. Spend time setting up the team, nice foundations and make sure you have a group of drivers that are willing to go the distance no matter what ups or downs the team has. Your main mistake is making a team with no drivers.

its not about if you use steam or not. What its about is advertisement. The more places you can officially buy LFS from, the more the Sim will become recognised, and for that, you will have the community growing again. Something as prestigious as steam, you can have all the information there, and also a preview for what its all about here. The LFS population is in a rapid decline, we need some more options on which we can present this to other people.

The only way we are getting new drivers here is through word of mouth, nothing more. People need to start finding us for themselfs and come with an 'empty mind' so to speak, a fresh face to bring new idea's.

IIRC its not about just stopping the sand cutting (but that slows you down anyway..) its about making the chicane tighter, simply because its not really a chicane, as it just gets straight lined.

i wouldnt just buy something that meets around the minimum requirements, in the future (if we get updates) the graphical quality will slowly increase, along with objects and open configuration tracks, you will find that the minimum specs will run the game, but it will barely be playable.. i find that with less that 50/60 fps, the game isnt smooth enough, which makes gameplay less enjoyable
