Mouse gestures are thingys I cannot live without - they're just a part of me now. I bought a mouse with back/forward-buttons but I'm never using them as it takes more time for the mouse software to recognice the buttonpress and to do the action than it would when I simply put my right button down and move the mouse to the left.

You can't really generalise Africa as one big area - I lived 10 years in Senegal and never saw a single gun. Although Senegal is quite a peaceful country, I suppose most of Mauritania, Mali, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Algeria etc. are quite the same.

No, we've never had curb sounds. The FF effects are not so heavy with the new patch when running on them, but still noticeable on some cars.

I found a strange "feature"; when you exit the multiplayer server list by clicking on "back", instead of straightly teleporting to the "show server list/new server/etc"-menu, there is a 1 frame flash of an empty screen (i.e. only the background visible and no graphics over it). Is this related to the "Closing 1 connect" screen that sometimes pops up at the same point? I remember the older versions just went back to the multiplayer menu without flashing the background for a frame.

Yup, that looks a lot like an overheating graphics card. I'd suggest you clean it up a bit. If that doesn't work, you should get a better cooler for your computer.
