Excellent tackle by Boris. I don't usually find much to laugh about at this time of the day.

BTW, the thread title should have read "All English members! Channel 5 now".

I'll take the new GT3! Awesome car!

The gear shifter has a sequential option, presumably to make it work in just one plane.

That car is gorgeous! Great work! Jaimi, consider yourself pm'ed

Consider that pm cocked up!

Would it be possible for you to incorporate the attached image on the nose?

I'd be happy with either Caledonian Racing or Ecurie Ecosse. We need a poll. Maybe the name Ecurie Ecosse is already spoken for though. Does that team still exist? Something tells me they might.

Well guys, the car's looking great! Sponsors are all cool too. I like Ecurie Ecosse but that's a good point about maybe not being able to live up to the name. Caledonian Racing is good too. I'm not fussed as long as it's not cheesy. "Made in Scotland from Carbon Fibre" is very good. I like that!

Got to go out at the moment for my ritual 4 pints in Kirriemuir but I'll be around this evening.

Stay Cool.

Tunnocks! Excellent! I'm happy with "Flying Scots". Sounds good. I used to own a Flying Scot. Lovely bike.

*EDiT* - How many of us use voice in-game? I have Ventrilo installed.

Brilliant! Not sure about a name though. What about Ecurie Ecosse or a variation thereof? Something classy definitely. I'll sleep on it. As for my cars? I only drive Single-seaters and GT's and I'm not great in either. I do appreciate the rules though and think it would be great to work in a team. I wish I could understand how to make skins but I've tried and tried and it's beyond me.

Count me in man. sounds like a great idea. We'll all be in the same time zone (apart from Edinburghers, obviously) so we should all be able to meet up at the right times. I'll do anything that's needed so ask away.

*EDiT* - almost anything.

Quote from jaimi :ok so its not finished, just sorting out sponsors and stuff to put on it, but a preview to get some suggestions (i Need Them getting stuck).

It looks pretty good to me also. I like the blue shade as well and the irony of being 'sposored' by the NHS hasn't escaped me either. Maybe get some sponsorship from Golden virginia and Tennents and we're away.

Keep it up man.

Quote from typhoonf1 :I did a bunch of skins with saltires and tartan and stuff for the ill-fated LFS Nations Cup Scotland team. They went down pretty well but the team kind of lost interest after racing for three rounds with one racer from the USA and a pair of Belgians.

I might do something new now I have the BF1 to play with.

Go for it man. I remember a car David Leslie used to run in the BTCC which was a cool blue with the white cross done in a kind of 'wavy' way, if you know what I mean. Are there no Scottish teams in LFS? Surely not?

Feel free to use this but please don't alter it.

Excellent man! I'll be oan Ba' bru the night.

Anybody done a skin with the Saltire yet?

Quote from Doorman :Grumpy old man hat on.
How many more threads are there to be about 'which bloody wheel should I buy?' There must be eighty of them! Read the forum for Pete's sake!
Grumpy old man hat off.

Fair point my man. I started a couple of them myself I think.

*EDiT* - Buy a DFP rev.B

Quote from spankmeyer :Dudes, if you're using a DFP do yourself a favour and change ffb steps from 128 to 256 in the LFS config file. Made my jaw drop how much more information I'm getting back from force-feedback. My DFP always felt sort of stiff despite dialing the force down, but that small adjustment changed it all.

My control panel settings are the usual: overall 50%, spring 0%, damper 0%, centering spring enabled but set to 0%

I've tried that and I can't say I notice much, if any, difference. What do the numbers refer to?

I suppose it's probably too big for you but I have a Coolermaster Wavemaster in black and I'd buy another to be honest. It's been great. Looks good, runs fairly quietly and pretty cool. Classy.

I just showed that Blackwood pic to my wife and explained the mystery. She said "That's exciting". Then added that it's "...time for bed". lol

Are we going for a post record or something?

I think it's almost certainly going to be an autocross stage.

This ones mine anyway: -

About as much as all those programs on your pc. Why not use a seperate 'Gamer' account? That's what I've done. All my games are installed on the one account along with Teamspeak and all other related programs. Runs sweet as a nut.
