Thing what is bottlenecking your system badly is that cpu, should of gone for a 4850 and got the new AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 7750+ for £68 (newer generation plus overclocks more aswell).
I know it's causing a slight bottle neck but it's nothing major.
Only in the Multicore effecient game's will it show up - although Crysis Warhead and Far Cry 2 run really well
I plan on getting a Quad Phenom at some point anyway and maybe some 1066MHZ Ram (Another 4GB kit) and i will shove my 4GB 800MHZ Ram in my Sister's PC which only has 1GB on Vista

Yeah, me neither. Just looked at i7 stuff. Need a new CPU, mobo and Ram, so don't think so. And it's now really expensive, and there isn't alot of choice etc etc. So i'll wait and save up 1500 euro
New fileserver (but it may be used for LFS if I need to go onto XP (Vista doesn't like my mic)).
Motherboard: ASUS M3A78-EM

I've done the LFS Benchmark with it (for giggles). You can see Max and Min results here (change version to 0.5Z RPL2 if not selected). The name is "amp888" there because I've forgotten the password and email address I used to register there a while ago.

Nah, given how little time I have for gaming, it's not worth spending a lot of money on GPU. I might add another 4870 down the road, or replace it with next gen whenever that comes.
I'll post on that LFS bench list when I get the time to do it... Given Eza's charts regarding the CPU cache impact on LFS in the other thread, I think I7 is about the same if not even a bit slower than C2D clock-for-clock.
No it aint wierd, as the comp is overclocked, and to keep the ratio the memory is underclocked a little.. i can also set it at 668mhz, nothing wierd about it...
oh and yes, i have a p4. its clockable, stable and cool(temp). i can clock it to 4ghz with no worries about heat, and not having to give it a notch more voltage. and as i dont have a fortune to spend on computer parts i tend to upgrade it little by little.. and as my proc dont bottleneck LFS i dont really care about what i have.. i get about 80 fps with full grid in lfs, about 240fps when not so many cars.. good for me, as i dont really care if my comp kicks the crap out of everyone elses.. i have my comp to play on. not to compete with someone else...
