Missed The School Bus......
Dedicated Kid..lol

I cant believe the kid did'nt even get arrested for it. It says he got treated for his minor injuries, and then the policemen took him to school. LOL
could he see over the steering wheel? or did he use his school bag
Quote from zeugnimod :He's 6 years old.

Indeed. His parents should punish him, instead of the police. And by 'punish' I don't mean a can of whoop-ass that'll knock him out of his boots.

His parents are the ones who deserve punished. They were asleep instead of making sure their 6-year-old kid was getting to school.
No child of that age should be waking itself up, getting it's own breakfast and making sure it's out the door on time. FFS he deserves to be a child for a little while.
but for letting him actually get them and letting him get away for that amount of time ( enough to drive away ) their guilty as charged...

seems like the new Jewish Hamilton to me
Quote from LFSn00b :Both of his parents have been charged with endangering their child.

What the hell? It's not like the parents gave the kid their car's key...

yes, but they didn't keep it in a safe place, they didn't teach him that it was wrong to take the car, and they weren't paying enough attention to their 6 year old child that he had the opportunity to go and do it.
I remember reading this yesterday (or this morning, I forget which) and thinking how can you learn to drive playing video games. Then I remembered that it is in America so he'd have been driving an auto. Although I don't recall the original story saying he crashed the car.

And I have to ask, is breakfast at school a normal thing over in the colonies?
My bad people, obviously did'nt read it properly. I thought he was older than 6. ^^

@ physchoman. It may be. Its quite normal here too. They used to do breakfast's at my old school, but you had to be at school by 7:30am, so no-one really bothered.

He hung out the window, according to the news

Im amazed he actually got 6miles (without hitting anything) untill he eventually crashed
Oh now that's a big lol. Is he on mad pills, who finds School that interesting?
Quote from 91mason91 :Im amazed he actually got 6miles (without hitting anything) untill he eventually crashed

Yeah! We should hook this kid up with LFS! 6 miles is about the length of most pick up races, he should be fine!

yes, how can he even see anything, 6 year old kid is around 140cm, and that is quite small for a car

and one hell of a tall 6 year old. 4 foot 7 inches? Wow!

My daughter is 8 and quite tall, taller than the majority of her classmates. She's about 4 foot 9 inches I think.

6 year olds are usually around 3 feet tall (91 cm).

At the age of 6 maybe he's just scared shitless that he'll get in trouble for being late...

Or his parents won't feed him breakfast and if he is late he misses out?
Id love to drive the car, but if i miss the school bus, why not staying home?

WAAAAAY better than school
Wonder if the Video Game Was Live for speed
I keep badgering my mum to let me drive to school, but no luck :P.
It's ok. I drove my Dad's car on an old abandonded airfield about 10 times from the age of 10 and only broke a tyre. (Gashed it on some rocks)

And then I crashed my Mums RAV4 into the side of a Volvo which decided to park right next to our car, even though there was plenty of space elsewhere...
