really weak motor in here too just 60 hp a bit less imo
and a rusty muffler it is loud as hell

60hp is fairly enough for fresh licenced drivers...

Yes, I meant fresh licensed drivers shouldn't get 200hp+ cars. These guys are just showing off, how rich they are and stuff.... I hate it.

We own a Volvo 850 too, 2.5 170hp. It's very comfortable and fast. But, when I'm driving it, I pay the fuel I use. And it drinks a lot, more than 10 liters/100km. As I don't have a job, still studying, I wouldn't spend much money buying fuel into it... I would rather drive my mom's Fusion... There's huge difference between the two marks, but I don't really care. Both cars bring my ass wherever I want, then why not drive the weaker car?

That's funny. We had a Fiat Brava 1.6. The dash caught on fire in the middle of the night, almost the half of the car burnt down. Italian cars are famous for their electronic issues. This is just an exception, you can find a lot if Italian cars that have never had any failures.

Ok, but Tipo is a bit older than a 01' Brava. Nowadays new cars are filled with 50kg wire and 10 computers. Why? One broken wire, and your car won't start. The only thing that could help is a computer which shows you where the problem is. Oh and this 5 mins job costs a lot.

true, though i wouldn't buy a fiat past 1979 ( unless it was a uno... preff turbo )

but puntos can take some abuse... its just that they have an unbreakable clutch but happily the head goes so its ready to be broken for parts

Unbreakable clutch!? My friend crashed a Mk1 Punto and was given a Mk2 as a courtesy car. The clutch went on that. He was then given a Mk3 as a courtesy car. They clutch also went on THAT too.

I'd sort of start to think the problem might be his use of the clutch rather than the mechanics themselves

My brother drives an Alfa, which at the end of the day is a fancy fiat and the clutch went on that.

lol i dont really like stick shift, it was hard at first trying to learn it but i got use to it, but hell it gets me places so im not complaining.

over here you can and whenever my money gets tight, buy 2 puntos for 50 euro each, make one half way decent car, get it road legal for 45 euro and sell it for upwards of 500 euro...
